Unexpectedly disappointed

I bought this TV today, knowing it was lacking inputs for multiple signal sources but expecting it to have a quality picture because of the Samsung reputation. This set is big disappointment. Maybe because my other TV is 1080P and this one is 720P that makes this one look so bad. My other set is a cheap, old LCD and lesser known brand but has several more inputs and doesn't require me to share input jacks for component and composite inputs. I am using HDMI inputs on both sets but my cheap set has more detail and a less smeared appearance when viewing human hair and facial features and it has practically note of the jagged pixel edges this set has.
For the extra cost of a Samsung TV you expect it would at least have a few more inputs and output the cheaper sets have like Digital Audio out, separate component and composite inputs, better audio quality and maybe a VGA input. But it has none of this.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, no vga input, have to share connections for a/v and component, poor audio from built-in speaker, no digital audio output
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't download any updates

Don't download any updates from the Samsung site for this tv. We download an English update for this tv and now everytime we turn the tv on there's a message on the screen about the main board needing things changed!
Other than that, it has a great quality picture.

Nice TV but I am disappointed that it doesn't have an audio output so I can listen with headphones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no audio output

Sound is sub standard, dull, tinny and muffled. Directions are terrible for set up, and a non help. I was finally able to figure them out for what I need to do.

reasonable price...but definitely not worth it...No audio out ports what so ever...and this thing came with a built in media player...

If Only I Had Known

Bought two TV's - the font on the tv is too SMALL, poor design on the small awkward control, it takes awhile to get setup options figured out, some major stations have no info on program and there was NO instructions for the control.
Other than that, it's ok but I would not buy again - lesson learned...

The. T.V. does not have not audio out, so I could not connect it to my existing stereo.

This is my very first LED TV and the colors are wonderful in HD mode. I am very pleased on how light the unit is overall. So, great job
