i still cant get mine upgraded to the latest operating system,am still running 4.1.1 smh

Best Smartphone overall for the dollar

I had a Nexus 5 a super fast phone and I can tell the SIII is slower, but it did not have milk music for free! NEXUS 5 felt flimsy. The Galaxy s III has Kit Kat 4.4.2 feals great in my had has a beautiful 720p amoled display and just fast enough to get everything done no problems.
Pros: Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was great 2 years ago, very slow and locked up easily lately

As the Android applications getting further mature, S III is not able to keep up, where after 2 years of usage, everything is slowing down a lot.
I have to reboot the unit at least once or twice a week now since the system keep locking up on me. I think just not able to handle the multi tasking that is expected by the current stage of applications in Android platform.

I can't say enough about how much I love-my Galaxy lll

It wakes me every morning with a slowly increasing gentle sound and slowly increasing light; it keeps me on time to all my appointments with its calendar and reminders. I no longer have to drag my ebook around because my Galaxy is my new ereader. The screen is the perfect size and I love the fact that it is constructed of Gorrilla Glass so I don't have to worry about ruining it or having to deal with frustrating screen protectors and those horrible bubbles. The phone is the perfect size and weight. The 8mp camera takes very good pictures and I can store them in the cloud and have easy access to them. I could go on and on....I just love this phonne!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This is a great phone! I don't miss my iPhone at all. GSIII matches Apple in all areas. GSIII has all the features, apps and then some. I love the notifications bar and the swipe down. It is great that the user can remove the battery and also has a choice of battery vendors and heavy duty/extra long life battery models. Android is the way to go. I will never go back. Samsung tablets are great also.
