Galaxy S3 is an awesome phone. Great features and performance. The only problem I have with it is the home button. It always seems to get depressed when in the pocket and starts applications.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: home button
I would recommend this to a friend!

I upgraded to the GS3 last summer. Samsung keeps improving its galaxy series phones. Love gogle now and the Jellybean OS. Fast and responsive this phone will be on the high end of phones for some time. Smooth and good sized great for games, music, and surfing the web. Good battery life and removable battery just adds to its functionality.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery life.

My Galaxy S III Review
on January 24, 2013

This is my second Galaxy phone. My first was the Galaxy S Captivate which served me well for two years and was a driving force in my decision to go with an S III instead of the iPhone 5.
I purchased the phone November 23rd & I've used it for 60 days as of this review. Overall I am very happy with the speed at which it loads web pages. From time to time it is a little sluggish but that seems to be due to either the Wi-Fi network I'm on or the signal because at other times it loads the pages very quickly.
So far I am very happy & impressed with the camera. In comparing some flash photos made with it to ones made with my fiancée’s HTC Inspire they are a far better quality. The lighting looks very close to natural where the photos from the Inspire have that overexposed or slightly washed out look. I also love the burst shot feature. The fiancée' & some friends were in a Mud Run for charity which had a giant slide. Using the burst shot feature I captured great clear shots of them from the top of slide all the way down into the water in a great continuous sequence and some awesome facial expressions.
The speech to text ability works much better than on my Captivate and is great to use when I'm driving. Tap the microphone icon, speak into the phone & tap the send button.
There are multiple ways to customize the lock screen, home screen, text message display, notifications etc which is another great feature. It took a little time to figure them out but once I had it set I love it. The battery charges quickly when plugged into the wall, from almost dead to fully charged in 2 hrs or less. A full charge last me all day with texting, some web browsing, using Twitter etc, no real issues with battery life at this time.
The only two “cons” I have are the color & size. I am on the AT&T network which offered white, red & pebble blue. I wanted basic black. I settled for the pebble blue & in the black case I have it looks fine. I just like basic black for my gadgets. While the large screen is nice, the overall phone size is a little much in my opinion. I can still carry it easy in my jeans pocket but the phone is a little wide for my personal taste. I’m an average build, 6ft tall, 200 lb range and when texting with the phone horizontal the thumb reach is sometimes a little much to hit the middle keys on the board. I have to get the phone positioned just right to be comfortable & easily reach the keys but I can live with that given the other benefits.
When I first purchased it I had trouble getting it to communicate with Samsung’s Kies software to move data from my Captivate to the S III. I did a lot of digging on the Internet and found it is a problem across all networks. Once I upgraded to the Jelly Bean OS I have not had any issues. If you are having this issue the only solution I found that worked at the time was form a T-Mobile support page. That solution was to make sure the phone had been reset to factory default & then hook it up without updating the phone with all your apps etc from your Google account. Samsung may have the bugs out now but if not and you reset to factory & download Jelly Bean you shouldn’t have any issues.
At this point I can say I’d buy another one if needed and I would recommend it to friends or family.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Camera!
on January 26, 2013

I choose the Galaxy SIII phone because I wanted a very good camera. I have not been disappointed. I've taken pictures of flowers in the rain at night, and even though there was no light on the subject, the camera was able to focus and take clear crisp photos of the flowers. Amazing! I shoot lots of pictures and now the SIII is my convenient camera of choice. I have taken it on 2 photo intensive trips since I bought it in November 2012, and the camera continues to impress me. I also own a large Nikon DSLR camera which takes great pics, but my Galaxy SIII is so much more convenient to carry, and it take great pics!
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, superb camera

This is my first smart phone and I have seen the eyePhone and the Iphone can not even compair to this phone the eyephone is soooo oh whats the word (YUK) IT IS LIKE IT CAME FROM THE DARK AGES but the Galaxy S lll is a great phone I love the way the texting is set up and the coloring is also great I only wish the battery had longer life!!! It goes dead in no time and I do not even talk a lot I only use it and I keep the light low on it but the battery still will not last very long but I am hopeing they have an extended life battery for it.

What's an iPhone?
on February 18, 2013

I have owned an iPhone since they first came out, buying the first iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S! Once I got the chance to purchase an iPhone 5 I walked into my local wireless provider retail store, knowing already exactly what I wanted. Instead of playing around with every phone they had two or three times before I made my preplanned purchase, I could not pry the Samsung Galaxy S III from my grasp... From the moment I walked in until I left, that phone was an appendage... The screen is the size of the entire iPhone! The features and functionality of the Galaxy S III are far superior than that of any iPhone I have ever owned. The Galaxy S III is much more like a computer, the way you can build storage files, set operational controls, specific parameters, etc... This Samsung smart phone almost exceeded all of my expectations except for one, It does not rub my feet after a long day of work, but I forgive it. Samsung, please keep the amazing products coming! Before too long you will make me feel like Tony Stark...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, large display, responsiveness, apps/widgets, functionality, personalization, interchangeable sd card, sleek design, universal micro usb charger, best phone ever!!!
Cons: texting is easier on an iphone, it does not rub my feet..., no black color for at&t
I would recommend this to a friend!

Screen Shatters Too Easily if Dropped
on March 12, 2013

My biggest complaint about this phone is the screen shattered very easily after being dropped on the pavement from 3 feet, and costs a few hundred dollars to replace. I was expecting a few scratches, or small cracks, but not a completely shattered screen. I guess that's what I get for not buying the protection plan.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, screen shatters too easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
