for a person who knows nothing about technology this phone is pretty easy to learn. and i love that it talks to my tv and computer!

The BEST cell phone on the market

I was reluctant to buy a smart phone. I figured I didn't need one and what you don't have you won't miss. When my job required me to have a smart phone, I chose the Galaxy SIII. I haven't been disappointed. In fact, I'd say it is the best phone I ever had. What you can do with it is practically unlimited. If you want 10 different alarm clocks, you got it. If you want to access your bank accounts and send photos of checks to deposit, you can do it. I still need to download the app to scan those funny looking squares that take you right to websites. The camera is the best I've had for a cell phone. When I first got the phone, I sent a video message to the woman who is now my wife. I love the S Voice. It automatically stores the apps I've had open so I can go right to where I left off. I'm not a multi-tasker. But, if anything can make me one, this phone is it. I've had this phone for a year and a half, and it hasn't missed a beat. I'll probably keep it for another year of two before trading up. When I first bought it, I was worried about carrying it in my pocket. But I didn't want it on my belt. Not a problem! Change, keys, whatever - nothing hurts it! Previous phones I had either had problems with the firmware, problems with the sound quality, poor pic taking quality, lousy customer support, or any other problems imaginable. Not with this phone! And not with Samsung! If you don't know what you want for your next cell phone, I'd recommend the Galaxy S series. You won't be sorry.

Product cannot locally sync contacts and calendar with a computer. Huge Drawback for a "smart" phone. Email program does not sync with email from server. Battery needs complete replacement every 4-5 months. Battery suddenly discharges in 30 minutes without any indicator.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing is great I have an S6 but I am using it most of the time my s3 I can use for anything I like the operating system and the color

I am a long time consumer of Samsung products including smart TVs, Phones, and Laptops. This is by far the best purchase I have ever made technology wise. The display and features of this device are second to none. I use my phone for everything from gaming to doing homework for my classes. This phone is ideal for all situations. I usually get between 8 to 15 hours of battery life, and that is with regular use. The display is remarkable. It is great for watching HD movies or using video apps that incorporate HD quality. S-Voice is great. I use it to check the forecast daily and to grab instant information from the web. Has a great feature that allows you to pop your video out to whatever screen you want. This is great for multitasking. The processor and amount of RAM available make the phone the fastest I have ever seen. I have Benchmarked the phones hardware and software many times and it always comes out on top of all the competition. If you are considering getting this phone, stop considering. This is the phone for everyone. Easy to use and fully customizable. What more could one ask for?

Excellent Product. Step up from Iphone 4s

Coming from 3 years on IOS with my previous phone being an Iphone 4S, this device is a leap forward.
Pros:
Larger screen size
Removable battery
Micro SD card
Touch Wiz
Lightweight
Cons:
Plastic feel. However I expect a large variety of replacements will be on the market soon.

THE best phone in existence!!

By far this is this is the best phone I've ever had. I just upgraded to the Galaxy S3 from the Iphone 4, and there is NO comparison. The Iphone is nice, but so outdated compared to the S3. The screen size is huge for me, pardon the pun! I love the bright, colorful display. It's so easy to read email, view webpages it's not even funny. I don't have to strain my eyes anymore trying to read the tiny writing on the tiny screen lol. Also I love the performance. It is so fast and you glide through your screens and apps like a warm summer breeze!

I have always used iphones.......forever. I decided to use my upgrade and try an android. I picked the new galaxy s3. First day i had it mastered, easy to use and if you want to change, modify and make it your personal phone you can, unlike my iphone. LTE 4g downloads are normally around 30 down and 8 up...some areas it drops to 20 down but 30 down seems to be the norm. Thats fast, my iphone could'nt even come close to these speeds. The features this phone has are too many to name but if you need a user friendly, fast phone to do all the things we cant live without these days, and do it faster, easier and better, then this is the phone for you, the best smart phone ever to hit the market, my iphone 4s cant touch this phone on features or performance. I have 3 other lines with iphones that will be upgraded to the samsung galaxy s3 also. I Love this phone
