Lacks option to print to anything but Samsung printer

I have only been a user for a week. I like the features performance, and the overall way the phone works. The one feature that is lacking is the option to print from email to anything but a Samsung printer. I gave up the iPhone to switch but I am wondering. Even the iphone wasn't picky about printers. Samsung claims its compatibility issues the way it's built but even iphone will print to any printer so I don't buy that answer. otherwise it's a good phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can't print temail to anything but samsung printer
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is awkward to handle and very fragile
on August 9, 2012

I found this product to be awkward to handle as it is so slim and slippery. The case is very smooth and hard to hold on to. When I bought the phone it was so new that there were no cases for it in the store. I hadn't even had the phone a week when it slipped out of my hand and fell to a concrete floor craking the face. Only a little crake that time and not very noticable but heart wrenching all the same. then a week later it slipped and fell again and this time the face shattered. this is my first smartphone and I love what it does but am so disappointed in the design. I have had a cell phone for 15 to 20 years and have never broken one before and I consider myself to be a very careful person. If I had it to do over I would have purchased the Iphone instead.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Too big, to fragile and awkward, hard to hold on to, case to slippery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bluetooth issue
on June 29, 2012

I thought it was just a glitch in my old Samsung Galaxy S3, so I called AT&T, told them about this issue and they sent me a new Samsung Galaxy S3. I have paired and connected my bluetooth to several devices. Bluetooth does work. The problem is connecting to the bluetooth device after it is paired. Usually you can grab a jawbone, voyager pro, etc., turn the device on and any other phone will automatically connect. That is not the case with this phone. You will have to manually go into the bluetoothe setting of the phone, select the device you want to connect to and connect it each time. For something so technologically advanced, they sure missed this part of the phone. Other than that, the phone is superior in all it does.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most frustrating phone I've ever owned.

Don't buy this phone. You can't upload music to it, you can't transfer your favorite pics to it from your computer. You can't transfer your videos. It won't connect to my pc via USB cord because the Drivers that Samsung gives you will not install properly. Also, the Galaxy S3 is NOT compatible with Samsung Kies according the error message I received last night. Each time I connect my phone to my computer using Samsung Kies, it says "MTP USB Device Driver Failed." After 3 hours on the phone with my carrier they couldn't figure out the problem either.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible WiFi Connectivity
on December 3, 2012

I have not been able to get stable wifi connections on this device at work or at home. This has been a well known problem with this device since it came out several months ago and still has not been resolved.
There are workarounds for this issue, but they are not simple and must be redone everytime the device is shutdown. Having to disable important features is not an acceptable answer.
I live on WiFi. This is unacceptable.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horible wifi, poor battery life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted an Android phone, not a Samsung phone based on Android.

Samsung has made a lot of changes to Android which really pollute the experience of the operating system and software. The TouchWiz launcher is limited, and the lock screen is barely configurable.
The Tec Tiles are limited, I found that third party NFC apps worked vastly better than Samsung's app. I am sorely disappointed, I expected this to be a lot closer to the Galaxy Nexus, but it is not.
Additionally, Wifi drops out constantly when downloading large files, causing the device to fail over to mobile data (which is not unlimited on my carrier).
It would be great to see Samsung offer the option to choose a more true-to-form version of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight, really fast
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, poor modifications to android, wifi drops out frequently
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
