If your PC uses a 64-bit Operating System Stay Away from Galaxy S3

There is no support from Samsung if you are using a 64-bit operating system thus you can not use all the futures on this phone because you cannot manage your contents on the phone. Very disappointed
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor samsung support

Do not like the phone

This is supposed to be a hi tech phone. But something like spell check is beyond it. Predictive text is junk so don't go there! Worse battery life of all phones I've ever had. Alerts cannot be controlled. I only want text alerts. NOT every time I get junk email. Have to have all on or all off

i give 1 star because after a full charge if you do not turn off the wifi,gps, go to the settings and in the task manager close all applications in 2 hours the phone is dead.
Basically the phone has to be constantly connected to the charger,otherwise it is useless.

Emails disappear...Replaced phone once. Still disappearing

My emails would disappear after a few hours. Replaced the phone and it still happened. I couldn't figure it out and neither could the store tech.Otherwise, great phone.

It's a great phone, but it doesn't work in one key way. It won't connect to a PC or a MAC. Yes, there is a GalaxyS3 driver and the Kies program, but my phone was unable to connect to a number of different PCs and a Mac Book Pro. There is a problem with the MTB driver -- it's been reported extensively elsewhere on the web. Without connectivity to your PC, you won't be able to keep up with OS upgrades and of course lose a major method for backing up and other uses of the phone. I am exchanging in hopes it's specific to my phone. On another note, I was unable to connect to the internet with the phone for half a day, despite extensive trouble shooting. The problem somehow resolved itself, but it was a troubling flaw.

FAIL - Wait for upgrade!

Battery life = 3 hours total! Set device to power-saving mode; installed Advanced Task Killer & constantly clean cache, memory & kill tasks, but STILL runs thru fully chgd battery in 3 hours!! AND overall perfmnce is slow EXCEPT when using email & then goes down to USELESS. I only have 2 email accts loaded - work Enterprise server & Hotmail. When I try to read, open, reply, ANYTHING in email, it freezes for 2-3 MINs OR becomes totally unresponsive. Tried rebooting it, upgrading all firmware but the only thing that helped a "little" was Advanced Task Killer app so now I can at least get it to open & am able to reply, although it is painfully slow. Moving between folders, etc. is a 2-3 min ordeal & that only works sometimes. The Kies app is USELESS! It hasn't recognized my device after upgrading firmware. It duplicated all photos on my phone & stored on the phone memory instead of the memory card! I tried to move them & it won’t let you!! All in all, this phone has a lot of cool stuff, but it doesn't mean anything when it doesnt work Samsung!

No Upgrade to Jellybean

I liked the phone until I found out there are no plans to push Jellybean (Android 4.1) to it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight

After reading the review on this phone, and wanting to get out of my Blackberry, i got the Galaxy S3 on the day it became available. It has A LOT of glitches, and I should have known better than to buy a new model. The battery use is inconsistent, it only looks for 4G, so its coverage is not as good as the blackberry, and there are a couple of other glitches with software. I would not recommend this phone to anyone else until Samsung works out the problems.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, screen size
Cons: Did not meet expectations, too many problems.
