This phone is in one word Awesome! This is my first Samsung phone, and I can say I'll never own anything but Samsung from now on. The performance and ease of use on this phone is great. And once the jelly bean update is available I'm expecting it to run even smoother.

Excellent features but battery still a problem

Excellent performance in speed, form factor, the android OS, and multi-tasking.
It's one of the best android phone on the market.
The only complaint I have, which might or might not be Samsung's fault is the battery.
After 10 hours the battery drains to 14 percent for normal use. i.e. phone calls, emails, and some youtubes.
It's a common problem for all android OS phones. There are too much zombies process running on the background if you install bunch of apps.
You can try to kill it by deleting the memory but the process would still come up again.
The way to see it is by checking on Setting and clicking on application manager.
But technically, I think android needs to be improve to better utilize all the sleep modes of the snapdragon s4 processor.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: battery hog

This is simply the best smartphone ever. long battery life, expandable memory, good camera with lots of options and features, smart stay, pop up video

I owned both an Android base phone as well as an *-phone. Liked the android operating system much more than the *OS, but phone screen was too small. When I read about the GS-3, couldn't wait until it hit the market. Phone is light, thin with a large screen and very versatile. Suggest buying the integrated cover; similar to a tablet cover.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, battery life, thin
Cons: integrated voice assistant

Love my S3

After owning the Jack, Blackjack, Omnia 2, the Galaxy S2. The S3 has really set it self above ALL smart phones. I love every aspect of it. Especially the way it interfaces with all of my other Samsung products. Good Job Samsung!!!
