Good phone, but battery life stinks

Battery life is really bad. This phone doesn't even make it through the end of the day. Must be put on charge every night without fail. Even if you don't use the phone, it still drains REALLY fast.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, more flexibilty than iphone
Cons: battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Other than no Jelly Bean yet it is still a great phone. I went from the Infuse to this one and it is a world of difference.
Lots of features and great sound on calls. I use the camera daily and it works very well, Love the Burst shot.!!

great screen, fast processor

HAD AN IPHONE 3G FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS AND WAS HESITANT ABOUT SWITCHING TO AN ANDROID PHONE. I WANTED A LARGER SCREEN AND THIS IS A BRIGHT AND SHARP SCREEN. IPHONE IS EXTREMELY EASY TO USE SO I AM ADJUSTING TO THIS PHONE AND SO FAR I AM PLEASED WITH IT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE BATTERY DRAINS QUICKLY

Captivate to Galaxy 3

I upgraded to the galaxy 3 from a samsung captivate that I loved. I really like the 3, but I was disappointed that the keyboard is not as good as the keyboard on the captivate and it bugs me that I can't turn off the the prediction without turning off swype. It drives me nuts when i'm typing out a word and it completely changes it.
The media player is great. I also love the drop down menu to easily change to vibrate or turn on gps or bluetooth. Its also great that I can change what icons are on the bottom home screen.
Another perk to the galaxy is that fact that I can delete things that I downloaded on google play that I didn't like. So it no longer shows in my download history.
Over all its a great phone, I was worried about going to such a big phone. I adjusted quickly to it and it is so much thinner than my last phone that I don't notice the difference when i toss it in a pocket

Best phone i have bought

This is a att verison i bought new on ebay so i could use the straight talk sim card and so far its worked beautiful. I bought a 32 g sim card for memory and have the storage space to take photos and video. Only thing i have trouble with is holding the phone in my hand and not touching the sound or on off buttons wish they were on the top or bottom.Camara takes beautiful photos. This phone will up load all your accounts and merge them into one place so nice. Over all you cant beat this phone with its big screen.

New to Galaxy II

Just purchased new Galaxy II. was a IPhone convert. This phone is great. The fact that you can change the battery alone is worth it. I have a Iphone and the battery no longer could hold a charge, which means you could not change it and would have to get a new phone. Also you could not upgrade the memory on the Iphone. I left out the door at the store with an 32 gig phone at a fraction of the cost for an IPhone! The screen on the galaxy is easy on the eyes and the icons and programs are practically the same with no loss of user friendly touch. The only loss is the Itunes, you will have to get used to another music storage program
