This phone can do it all with speed and taste. Love the thinness for a 4.8 screen device, you can barely feel it in your pocket. The features on this phone set it apart from others.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin
Cons: blue tint screen

Wonderful phone with great features. Only complaint is the inability to find holster cases for it.

HD 720p screen, 1080p would be nicer but its a major improvement coming from an 800x400 on the galaxy s2

2gb of ram(essential) - on average my phone uses 1.2gb of ram with my applications open so its nice to have the extra memory. 1.5gb available.

Battery lasts 4-5 hours. I go through 2-3 batteries in a day which is ridiculous. I use my phone a lot so maybe thats why...
Supposedly cracks easily
Cheap plastic finish but this might be for damage protection? At least the back doesn't shatter.

What I use it for: I use it on Straight talk and have no problem holding an HSPA+ Connection. The price is a little too high it should be priced at $400-$450 but that is just my opinion. I love the fact that you can add a 64gb SDXC. I use mine for watching episodes of the office when I am at the gym!
Recommended accessories: Get the Samsung HDMI adapter(11 pin) for HDTV output and at least 1 extra battery. Also an Otterbox Commuter is the perfect type of case since it has a lot of shock protection on the front.

This is my first "smart phone". I postponed making the change into the smart phone market because I was worried I'd have a hard time learning how to use them. However, the transition couldn't have been smoother. I have already swayed 10 of my friends into getting the S3 over the i5.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

Excellent device. Bought mine and went back a week later to get my wife one. Works great with Sprint network and AT&T. S-Beam works as advertised. (I remember when Palm/HP worked on bump to share). I do wish the running programs were shown when dragging down the screen with the notification. Not able to use my Aviator plug-in headsets to listen to music and answer the phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no ready list of running programs

I was on the iphone bandwagon for 4 years and I was going to get the iphone 5 until it came out and it there was no new design, just a little bigger and a few more extras. So I decided to look around for another phone and I heard a lot about the galaxy s 3 and started doing research on it and found out that this phone does everything the iphone does plus tons more. So I bought it and glad I did it and I will never buy anything else than a samsung phone. Great work guys.

Unless you just have to have an iphone, this is the phone to get. The HTC X1+ is superbadd as well, but this screen is bigger. Easy to use right out of the box without reading the manual. Me likey.

This phone has been awesome. I switched from an iPhone 4 and couldn't be happier. The screen is much larger and extremely clear. The ability to expand the memory and switch out the battery is awesome. I am extremely happy with this phone.
