Nice phone but

Maybe we've been unlucky with ours but the quality of it has been poor. App's lock/freeze up constantly. Naturally, AT&T says we can bring the phone back in and exchange but "there are restocking fee's" which I don't understand. We had a IPhone before this one and I miss it although I do like the bigger screen better than the Iphone
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade is...

I've gone all the way Samsung on tablet and phone for a while, and with the upgrade on the phone,it's a good idea. I got the phone when it first came out because of a previous Samsung, an on the strength of the Android features, in particular, Swype which I adore. It works well now, not having been originally available. On that, I used a free app which was better than the T-9 junk, but not the full Swype.
I complained about my Galaxy Tab when it didn't have it, and then there it was on the upgrade. Ditto this phone. Now both work with that, and are really terrific products.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, swype
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Cell Phone on the Market

This is a GREAT cell phone. Not tied to Apple and their pricing and marketing. I only wish they added a second speaker so you could get stereo music and I don't like have ATT apps built in that you cannot delete.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, smooth/fast scrolling
Cons: needs longer battery life

Excellent Smart Phone

I have had used several types of smart phones with different operating systems but this one is the best ever. I wanted a phone that had stamina and something that I would grow into. I didn't want to outgrow the technology for years, so this is why I purchased this phone. This has a very fast processor and lots of RAM. It has a beautiful display which is crisp and clear. This is a smartphone on steroids. I am not an impulse shopper and it took me a while to decide which phone to buy, and I am glad I purchasedt this phone. I have had this phone for a while and I just upgraded the firmware to JB, and it performs even smoother which I did not think it was posssible. What's really nice too is all the great apps you can get for free and they operate so smoothly on this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, processing power (cpu), ram, slim design, user friendly, operating system, battery duration, customer support

If you must purchase an Android smartphone I recommend that you purchase the Samsung Galaxy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I love this phone........

I am a real non-techie...had on old flip phone for 6 years and finally was persuaded to get more current. First reaction to the Galaxy s3 was "way too expensive"...then I saw what it could do and decided to go for it. I'm still learning its capabilities but every day, I'm glad I made the leap. This is the best android on the market today and my friends with iPhones are really envious.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battrery life is not the best but not bad.

Samsung's Galaxy S3 is a cellphone capable of managing your work schedules, it comes with a 1.5 GHz dual Core Processor, with android 4.1 jelly bean platform. 1280 x 720 pixel display with a HD super Amoled screen technology that helps prevent you from mistyping a letter or number. Super display 4.8" 8 megapixel camera that shoots 10 photos within 5 seconds and 4x digital zoom, also comes with polaris office which is microsoft office compatible, and voice activation similiar to suri as the apple iphone has. My wife Loves this phone.
