Poor battery performance - issues with Media Server and use of SD cards

I would have expected 100% rock solid performance from one of the top selling handsets. Although the Jelly Bean update has made Touchwiz work much better, the handset still has a rocky performance.
I'd advise Samsung to make it work better. The need to get critical software/firmware updates out, needs work. The carriers too are in this delivery chain, I know. But to get full android phone acceptance, the basic phone/media/messaging services and performance needs to be top notch.
Finally, the screen brightness in sunlight, is quite average. Allthe marketing of a super amoled screen doesn't appear to "shine" when outdoors.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Great phone

The Samsung Galaxy 3 is the best phone that I have seen. I started to buy the note II that my husband has but it was a little too big for me. The S3 seems to have all the features that the note II has expecially after i downloaded jellybean. The features on the S3 are outstanding. I love the voice feature really well. The camera is easy to use and takes great pictures. I can't say enough about all the features, I really love it.

My wife gave me this phone. It's an excellent product and like everything else Samsung, it works as intended.

The Galaxy S III has two major values - the battery is replaceable and the memory card can be easily upgraded. This is my first experience with Android and it has fully lived up to expectation. While the proliferation of applications is a bit overwhelming, thorough due diligence has indentified several which add substantial value to the platform. I am still exploring the various functions and utilities of unit and have yet to be disappointed.
