I had a iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S lll is the best cell phone. I love this phone.

This is far and away the best smartphone that I've ever had a chance to work on (iPhones and Android), The only way to describe it is "Nailed It". It is exactly what I wanted in a phone:
- Beautiful screen (size and quality)
- Screaming fast (device and network performance)
- Slim
- Ice cream sandwich
- The movie detach/Pic-in-Pic! Not because I will ever really use that feature, but it's so fun to show off that it can do it ;-)
- The beveled gorilla glass is brilliant! The other devices that I've used had (except pre-iphone 4) aggressive edges/corners which made them annoyingly uncomfortable to hold/handle. The S3 curves perfectly and is quite comfortable to hold in your hand.
- No shutter lag: makes the phone camera way more usable now.
- Screaming fast (device and network performance)
- Slim

Every Samsung Android gets better and better....

This is my third Samsung phone, and I will admit that the first one was garbage. (Samsung Eternity)...Then I purchased the Samsung Captivate...which was a groundbreaking cell phone at the time....but it definitely had its flaws. I've recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy III S, and you can truly tell that Samsung has been listening to its customers. Its screen is clear, the Android OS is a bit cleaned up thanks to 4.0, and the battery can make it through most of 1 day if the "battery save" feature is turned on. The phone's 4G LTE is really fast, and I can see reaching data limits on this phone very easily, so be careful. Both Video and Camera are of good quality too. My complaints? Not many. Although battery life is good.....i was expecting better. Why have all this fancy hardware if the "battery save" feature just turns them off? (Lowers CPU, lowers brightness, etc.) My second complaint is accessories. Cases, screen protectors, pouches, etc, are out there....just hard to get your hands on. Lastly, be aware that on a public WiFi system....this phone can read other peoples PC files without them knowing it. (shows up under Android Gallery) I contacted Samsung tech. help, and its not a defect, the phone can receive, and transmit to nearly any wireless system!!!

This is my second samsung phone, and I really like it. This is the second samsung phone i've owned so far, and i've really liked both of them. the screen is big and has a good resolution, its upload and download speeds are good, it has a good battery life, and I really like that it has a slot for a micro sd card and a removable battery. it is also very light and appears thin, although it is actually about as thick as the iPhone. There are several features, such as s voice and smart stay that make it different and better than other phones available today. s voice isn't as good as siri, but it still works if you want to navigate somewhere or set an alarm. I'm really glad I bought this phone and i think i won't need to buy another one for a while

After almost 3 years with the iPhone, I had to change. This has been a great upgrade for me. I have a few issues, probably residual bad habits from iOS, but no real complaints. If I could have changed one thing, it would be removing the bloatware. Multiple media players, maps, etc... I would have been happier with the straight Samsung UI and not the carrier's overlay. I really love the screen. Not too big, super easy to read. I am thinking about switching out all of my families phones to S3s because I like it so much!
Pros: Lightweight, responsive ui

There's nothing much this phone can't do. I would really like if samsung gave the option for a Vanilla Android to be installed. I'm a gadget freak/rookie developer and a lot of small features need to be added or enhanced. with that being said the phone is an amazing piece of equipment.

Cons: Too big
