I really love this phone! Does it all and is a fantastic phone to boot. Only minor complaint I have is placement of volume control toggle...I constantly turn my ringer off! Real bummer. I'm hoping to train myself to grasp it differently. Screen is crisp and gorgeous, snappy responses, size and weight are amazing, plus the build quality is all there. This is my first nonapple smartphone and I'm happy with my decision to switch. I'm encouraging others to give it a try because I have been so pleased with my experience. Thanks Samsung
I have had this phone for over a month now and feel that it is top of the line . In phone directions really makes using and setting up your phone a piece of cake. Picture quality is great. The only thing that worries me is that it is a thin pnone that could easily be broken if dropped. I picked up an "Otter" cover and it seems to have really beefed up the protection. Only time will tell. So far I love my phone.
I needed a new phone after my BlackBerry 9700 screen died and there was nothing I could do. So I looked at the Samsung Galaxy S III and Ithe IPhone 5. I went with the Galaxy S III. Why? Because I thought it had a few better features such as being able to just touch another S III and transfer information. The size is a little bulkier then I would like but after getting a hard case it resolved that issue. The only negative is it doesn't cut on and off when set like I did with my BB. Where as not a deal breaker, it was a feature I used daily. It also didn't keep the burthdays when information was transferred. I also noticed that it is draining quickly. I am still learning my phone so maybe there is something I need to do to stop this. All in all I feel it was a great choice.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, 4g, easy to navigate, room for plenty of apps
Cons: quick draining battery, casing is plastic and not metal, no auto power on, no auto power off
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly, a really great phone. I would have given this phone 5 stars across the board, but because the remote security features are not available (are in the manual and website though) I had to give 4 stars. Everything else is terrific about this phone...display, functionality, ease of use, all are awesome. But if you are looking for remote security and phone tracking like the iphones, Samsung let us down. Hope you are listening Samsung...
I have owned a number of phones in my life including the iPhone 3S, Blackberry, Magnavox and other smartphones. I can easily say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Galaxay S III is the best phone I have ever owned. My experience goes all the way back to 1992 and the old bag phones. The price, features, design and value are all top of the line with a plethora of apps and widgets that make your experience even better.
