Taking you to a new galaxy faster than the speed of light.

Display:
After a week, I got two small, but nice scratches without a screen protector/case. Keep in mind, I work at a camp outside. With children (I know, don't say anything...) and I'm sure it was bound to happen. The Super AMOLED screen is highly intuitive and doesn't lag like my iPhone did. The screen size is absolutely perrrfect for everything, especially for a tall person like me with larger hands than most people.
Battery/Memory:
The only thing thing that irks me to no end is the battery life and power consumption. Coming from an iPhone 4, that would last two straight days with data off most of the time or a full day under normal conditions with data on, it kinda kills me on the inside. I find myself closing apps constantly via task manager because most of them take a toll on the phone and make the battery drain faster (on a lighter note, the phone boasts 2 GB of memory which help it manage a lot of apps simultaneously).
Camera:
I am a photographer/designer and I absolutely LOVE the Galaxy S III's (GS3) camera. It is fantastic for REAL photographers who don't have their DSL-Rs on them, but would like to be able to capture a moment down to the last detail with customizable settings. Or you could just set everything to auto like the iPhone. Boring.
Software:
Well. As far as the pre-loaded software goes, I'm pretty disappointed. I have a lot of accounts, and setting them up was a pain in itself. But beyond that, having two native music apps (Google's AND Samsung's) that don't work well, two navigation apps (AT&T AND Google's), two voice features (Google Voice AND S-Voice), THREE messaging apps (standard, AT&T, and Samsung's), and many others that are useless (S Memo, Media Hub (HATE HATE HATE), Yellowpages (I have the internet you know), Flipboard (Pulse is better), and Kies (worse iTunes alternative ever...)).
S-Voice:
Just writing about this to make two things clear. First, Google Voice was around long before Siri. So shut up to you Apple fanboys. Second, from experience I've found that S-Voice is FAR more useful and accurate than Siri was when I got it working on my iPhone and when I've used it on peoples' 4S.
Call/Text:
I was able to get all my contacts on my phone with no problems. I've had one dropped call, but it was the other person's phone. The quality is nice though. The texting is pretty great and the predictive text slowly learns your habits and autocorrects based on that. Love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, camera, smart features, better than the iphone
Cons: battery life, tones/alerts sounds, kies/music syncing

I like the phones sleak design and it's super fast. I just wish that the android market was as good as Iphone Market. I couldn't continue to play most of my games. Overall the Samsung Galaxy S3 i747 is an awesome phone.

had all models of the iphone up to 3gs. really wanted the iphone 5 . but the features and overall value of the galaxy 3 made my decision very clear. love using the phone , find it very hard to put it down. took some getting used to as it performs so many other functions that are not available on the iphone5. did quite a lot of research on this phone and i am very satisfied with my purchase. in my opinion the iphone5 is an insignificant device in comparison. love the fact that you have expandable memory and freedom from itunes.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, great features, expandable memory

I am impressed with the functionality, feature and operations of the S III. It does everything better than expected and blows away the iPhone 5. I am very thankful that the iPhone % I had was a reject. Very thankful to have the S III. Can get a ton of work and messaging done very quickly without nuisance interruptions.

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, more than i can imagine, helps me get things done, reiefs stress, easy to see (i am near sighted), beautiful engineering!, awesome ergonomics!

I bought these phone a 6 month ago, is what I was expecting, beautiful design, good performance, very good screen, 4.8 inch protected with Gorilla Glass 2 in 6 month I don't see any scratch, LTE capable give you very fast connectivity, running speed test I had up to 35Mb/s download speed, faster than my Internet service at home, very fast tethering too up to 5Mb/s Download speed in my Galaxy Note 10.1, awesome product, I cant wait for the S4 these year...
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I must say that even if this phone is not quad core (US ATT), it compensates with 2gb memory compare to 1gb of the international version. At first I doubt about the phones ability to multitask without lagging, but I decided to buy it because of the micro-sd slot.
I found out that this is a super fast phone, lag free and totally beats my iphone4.
The downside is the battery life and the screen display. Its display is kinda dim compare to my iphone 4, and the battery life is draining fast. You cannot fully utilized the features (widgets, super amoled, sync etc.) because you are concern about the battery life.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: battery life, display is kinda low
