Internet radio great, Existing music library bad

The Bad: - The app is a little average, you can set 6 favorites but there is no text displaying which favorite is assigned to which number. - It wont recognise my NAS or the music i store on it. - It wont let me stream from my phone. - You must also have premium Spotify to get any Spotify functionality to work. - No visual representation of the app on the tv (must us another device to setup). - No visual representation on the Bose receiver other then the word "SoundTouch"
The good things: - Works well with Internet radio (a lot of stations are listed) - Your favorites get remembered to the Bose universal remote so you dont need your phone to start a station - The app lets you turn on/off the unit

Hello there,
Thank you for the review. We take feedback like this seriously and appreciate it. One thing that stands out is that the system isn’t recognizing the NAS drive. You should definitely be able to access music on a NAS drive with the system. That is something we would like to help you with.
We have reached out via email to learn more about the situation and help you with that further. We are also available by phone at 800-905-2156 Monday through Friday 8:30am – 9pm EST and Saturday 9am-7pm EST.

Problems with the wireless connection

Hello, I´ve two SA-4 connected with wireless adapter, one for each, and we often play music from a Spotify account. Sometimes the connection fails for one o two seconds and it happens very often. I think the problem is the wifi connections in 2.4 GHz, so I need to know if the SoundTouch wireless adapter works with 5.0 GHz. Thanks!

Very disappointed

I got this because I was told it would stream any music service. Even the description says stream music apps "like"... And names the only apps. They should have put "only" those apps. The word like led me to believe the salesman was correct. Why would I want to cancel my current music service to use those only Bose allows. It is a paperweight right now on my computer desk. Bose, your quality is legend, technology for this is horrible.

Won't play directly from phone
on July 22, 2015

I don't know why Bose won't fix this so that we can play music files directly from the phone or tablet. It seems strange that all other inferior systems (Sony, Yamaha, etc...) allows you to connect and play directly from your phone. I expected a lot more from Bose. Really disappointed.

the internet radios listed are very limited and there are plenty of other stations so the easiest way is to allow the phone to connect and paly the songs from the phone, or can you pls advice on how to add a new internet radio station to the soundtouch app.
Response from bose.comBy Gary, Bose Service, August 20, 2015
Hello Mey,
Thank you for the review. It’s not possible to add Internet Radio stations through the SoundTouch app. The streaming for the Internet Radio source on SoundTouch is done through vTuner's service. We can only access the station streams from the index that they provide.
You can browse vTuner's station master-list. Please visit:
