Cheaply made, Leaked before I turned it on

I bought this 3 weeks ago from a major appliance retailer as a replacement. I installed it myself as I have skills. I was disappointed that the appliance was very light, and front heavy. The adjustable legs were very wobbly. The instructions said to refrain from leaning on the front door because damage could occur. If you have ever bumped an appliance by mopping the floor or have children, this is not the appliance for you. The door does not have a latch; it closes with a pressure catch that is difficult to pull open if it closes on your finger (it happened to me). The product doesn't seem to have been tested at the factory prior to shipping. According to the instructions I poured 2 quarts of water into the bottom of the dishwasher prior to turning it on. All the water proceeded to run out of the bottom in parts that were factory assembled. I am very disappointed and will not purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher again. The complete model number was FFBD1821MW0A.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cute and capable

We bought this to fit into our small kitchen area during remodeling and we don't need a huge dishwasher since just 2 of us. It works great, cleans wonderfully and is easy to load dishes into. Does have a limit to large items but we wash those in sink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does what you want it to

Had it about a month. It's been running great. Watch you small plastic pieces in the dishwater. I've had two dosing syringes and a nalgene cap melt from the drying element.
Much better than my Danby dishwasher

Quiet and performs well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dishwasher in April of 2016, so far no complaints at all. From the time I installed it, this thing runs like a champ. I got this because of the low amp draw, and did a lot of research on other dishwashers. This is a quiet dishwasher, has multiple wash cycles. For a quick hour or so wash, the energy saver wash cycles is great for not so dirty dishes. It has a hi-temp wash for the tough dishes to wash. Being an 18" it is smaller than a 24" obviously but it is perfect for my family. I would recommend this product, easy install as well.

Wife LOVES IT!

Added counter space onto kitchen/living room area also added additional insulation around inside of cabinet for dishwasher as it was close to TV in living room. Was really surprised how quiet this machine is. We can watch TV and use the dishwasher without any problems.
My wife removed the top of the silverware holder so our silverware would go into it, very easy to remove. Took advice from some one else who suggested running the hot water before starting dishwasher. Had to remember to do this. We do have a little water which sits atop of our cups because we don't tip them on the top rack which would solve this. Can wash some pots and pans but found if they have anything burnt on them need to wash by hand. Please note: we use the normal wash cycle and have not tried the pot n pan cycle for washing which might do a better job on the pots and pans.
One thing we did learn is when closing the door to watch where you place your fingers because it is easy to hit a button to start a cycle.
We are not sorry for buying this machine. Would recommend it to anyone who has a small place.

Very decent little dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is better than most of my previous full-size dishwashers but not all. To get well-timed dishes clean, I must run Normal wash.
It holds more than I expected, when dishes are carefully loaded.
I usually run the dishwasher at bedtime, and I don't use the dry cycle, usually, to save electricity. Propping the door open before work the next day leaves me clean, dry dishes when I return home.
I wish it were a little more powerful AND a bit quieter. It's not bad, though. From my research, this is the best small dishwasher on the market.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exterior rust on "stainless" front panel

Buyer beware. The stainless steel front panel has rust spots in just over a year. The warrantee expires after 1 year, which doesn't matter anyways since the warrantee says it doesn't cover rust on the interior or exterior of the unit. I would like to add photos however that feature does not seem to be working. Hopefully it's not because of my low star rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaking on first use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drain pan gasket was not properly seated and the first time the unit was used water came pouring out. Was a quick fix from a frigidaire repairman, but disappointing that it was leaking on first use.
