Compact and Quiet Dishwasher

Extremely easy to install with old school quality. Needed a dishwasher for a confined area and the Frigidaire FFBD1821MB worked out extremely well. Had all the features I had in mind although initially the cost seemed high, after a few months of use it was worth the investment and I am very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I could not be more pleased with this dishwasher. Everything fits inside and it does a great job cleaning and drying. Quiet, too. The black finish is also nice, not too shiny.

This new unit was to replace our old dishwasher, which also was a Frigidaire 18". I changed out myself, was very easy, per instructions.
We used the old one for many years and have loved it. That is why we bought another Frigidaire, Quality - quality!!!! The 18" model is perfect for two people.

Enjoying my new dishwasher

My kitchen is pretty small, and unless I went with a major remodel, I had to stick to an 18" dishwasher if I wanted to have one installed. I've been using this model for a few weeks, and really like it. It's surprisingly quiet--my plumber remarked that many dishwashers have only a spray-on layer of sound insulation, while the Frigidaire is wrapped with actual padded insulation. My dishes are clean, and the stainless steel interior always looks good. I need to juggle a bit if I wash a number of large bowls, but other than that I have not had an issue with loading. This dishwasher is probably too small for a family of three or more, but it's perfect for a singleton or a couple.

Great Little Unit

We bought this for our family of 3 and it does a fantastic job. It just stinks that these small ones cost as much or more than some of the full size ones. Other than that we are super happy with our purchase.

Fits My Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an old existing dishwasher and needed a small apartment size washer to fit in the space I had. I found this one online and it worked out. Runs super, cleans and dries dishes perfectly. The only con is that it is a small unit but it is just me and the wife so it is ok for us. As far as the noise level you can barley hear it run Happy so far .
I would recommend this to a friend!

greatly improved over older model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! i like that it's more energy efficient than my old one (Frigidaire also, lasting 18 years) i mainly run it on the 'energy saver' cycle and 'air dry'. uses only 2.7 gal of water and takes about an hour for the entire cycle. dishes are clean, even pots and pans and streak free (i use white vinegar in the rinse container). i think the upper water arm/sprayer makes a huge difference getting the items in the upper rack cleaner. and, the decreased water pressure results in the lighter items (such as plastic containers) not being tipped over leaving them full of dirty water. i didn't think i'd like the smaller size silverware container, but i do. i did take the removable upper stabilizers off as many others did. it's quiet. dishes come out clean and dry.
overall, i consider it greatly improved over the older models. love the stainless steel front.......now, if it lasts another 18 years!!!!!!!
