This product should not be offered without a warning

This unit is nearly unusable. It's internal size is the smallest I have seen other than apartment sized dishwashers. The functions are just basic with no added features. The upper rack only pulls out about half way rendering the back half unusable. If you have glasses or stem ware other than short tumblers, you will have to wash them on the bottom rack. There is an audible alert at the end of the cycle that cannot be turned off, so don't set start a cycle before going to bed. It will force you to get up and turn off the power. I am so disappointed in this unit and angry that I was stupid enough to buy it in the first place. I am angry that GE offers something like this .

Good Fit for Remodel and Tile

We were doing work in our kitchen and were having a tile floor put in. This would raise the level of our floor and most dishwashers are so tall they would not fit into the space once 3/4 of an inch was lost. This GE was one of the few with enough manufacture's foresight to build enough height flexibility. It fits very well. We had a GE before, and the interior seemed bigger on the old one, but it was worth to keep from having to raise all the cabinetry or perform some other equally undesirable accommodation.

Very quiet but

We just bought this and so far it has been a disappointment. It is very quiet and looks great, but the inside it quite small and it is very hard to load. I can't fit nearly the amount of dishes I was able to in my old dishwasher. The only reason we upgraded was to have matching appliances and now I am somewhat regretting it.

Great dishwasher, but small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher looks awesome and performs well, but the interior is very small compared to the "builders special" it replaced. Due to the height of the top rack, you have to put saucers and tall cups on the bottom rack, which takes up a lot of the usable space. You can't lower the top rack because of the spray head mounted on the bottom of the top rack. Looks and performance are great, but the interior lacks functionality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks good but..

We have only had this for 1 year and already one of the prongs in the bottom rack has broken off and it was totally rusted.
The configuration of the racks is very poor.

Great at washing, but small interior

I bought this dishwasher 6 months ago and am happy but not thrilled with it. I am thrilled with the way it cleans the dishes, the way it looks, and the hidden controls. It looks so good with the other 3 matching appliances that I bought at the same time. That said, there are a few cons to this model. The first one is the size of the interior. The former one I owned had movable tines, and was much larger inside than this one, even though the dimensions were the same. I don't have too much of a problem being as we are a family of 2, but when I have company, I have to wash all of the pots and pans by hand, or do a second load. The other problem I have with the design is the cutlery basket. I wish that it hung on the door like my other one did, which would give you more room in the interior. Also the covers and handle on the basket are a pain. We have removed the covers so we can put the silverware in and also be able to push the rack back into place. After owning it one month, the door latch assembly broke, but it was immediately fixed, so no complaint there. Overall an Ok product.

You know when you spend a chunk of change on something and it wasn't even close to being worth it, this dishwasher is not the case! It is very quiet and is energy efficient. I just think it is amazing how much money you can save with just one appliance. Not only did I receive a quality product, but a name that can back it up. So with that said, overall, extremely satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Odd configurations

Bought this a couple months ago and wish I didn't. Top rack is too small and bottom rack can't fit large bowls or plates. It looks nice but functionality stinks!
