I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR FOR THIS TO COME OUT AND NOW I'M DISAPPOINTED IN SOME FEATURES,THAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE AND DON'T WELL HAVE TO GET USE TO IT.AND HAVE A FEW LESSONS FROM THE YOUNG KIDS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD THEY CAN DO IT ALL.

Almost perfect, but not quite

Pretty much everything I've used on this phone has been great, with one important exception. I use programs like Google Latitude and Endomondo quite a bit, and those programs require use of the GPS functionality of the phone even when it's in "deep sleep mode". I've noticed that when the S3 goes into deep sleep mode that it stops transmitting GPS signals which are necessary to update my location in these types of programs. My friends can see my shared location(s) just fine when the phone is "awake" but once the phone goes to sleep it stops sending it's GPS location data to the network.
We all use our phones for different things and most of my favourite things tend to involve the GPS. So, until this functionality is fixed within the S3, it only gets a 4* rating from me.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, gps stops functioning in deep sleep mode

I love most everything about this phone. However one important thing is I consistently get less than 50 kb on 3g. Very frustrating

I feel that phone is slightly to big. It has caused me to repeatedly drop the phone. As a result, after 3-weeks of having the phone I shattered the display screen. I am now awaiting a replacement.

not as good as I was told it would be...

I am always loosing calls and doesn't send texts most the time. Always have to resend many times to get my texts out. phone says I have good signal but wont call or send texts. Love the picture quality and camera and when I'm in range the net pics up fast and downloads good most the time.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
