One of the best phones I have ever owned!

The Galaxy S III is amazing! It has a great screen and it has many features not found on any other phones. The phone is also beautifully designed and surprisingly durable. My phone fell out of a roller coaster and survived with only minor dents! The only problems I have had are with some minor lag issues when using the phone a lot, middling battery life, and heating issues. The lag is very minor and only occasionally occurs, but the other two issues are more common. The battery life is probably a result of the large display, but since the battery is removable I am not too worried about the battery life. In addition, Sprint still only has spotty 4G LTE in my area, so a lot of battery gets wasted searching for the network. Finally, the phone gets pretty warm after medium to heavy usage. This irks me, especially when I am barely using it. Hopefully, the Galaxy S IV will fix all of these issues. Until then, this is probably the best Android phone, given its ubiquity and features!

Cons: battery life, warm device

This phone has got to be one of the best devices I've worked with so far... And I have had a lot of them. For the past 5 to 6 years I have been trying to find the smartphone that offers a acceptable feature set balanced with power consumption. This is the first one that has enough horse power to run the apps I need fluidly while still giving me 8-10 hrs of battery life. Until I found this one, I've been going through devices about once a year. I've had this one since it came out and now can say I am almost satisfied. My only complaint (as with all capacitive touch devices) is that there is no stylus that allows for convenient note taking. The Galaxy Note II is the only one that comes close...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, long battery life

Outstanding features and performance

My new Galaxy SIII is a replacement for a Galaxy S phone. Although it has similar features, the Galaxy is in a whole new class. It's dominant feature is that beautiful big screen, which is even richer and sharper than the original Galaxy S. I do almost everything with this new phone, and it has not disappointed me on anything. The new OS is fast and easy to navigate, and performance is wonderful.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Phone is loaded with a lot of features, but still has a poor design in regards to the battery, phone is not lasting more that 5 to 6 hours, if you guy can be better at this you guys will be perfect.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Samsung has finally got it right!

My first "smartphone" by Samsung was the Instinct, and it was horrible. I swore Sammy off! As I read so many glowing reviews about this phone, I decided to give Samsung another chance. I'm glad I did!
This phone has a lot of great qualities and features. The screen size and clarity are right. The height/weight proportion is balanced well. Notification light is large and bright! The phone rings relatively loudly, and you can actually hear videos (from the rear speaker) when you watch them.
I'm really feeling the home button. I know it gets mixed reviews, but i really like its existence. I LOVE the fact that I can stop or snooze my alarm, or take a picture by voice. Answering a call and controlling the music by voice works sometimes, but not at all times. While I'm complaining, I will also say that Smart Stay, the feature that keeps the screen lit up while you're looking at it, is also hit or miss. Actually, I had to disable it because it kept my screen on all the time.
Other than those annoyances, this phone is tops. The other software capabilities are pretty sweet. I love direct dial, smart rotation, blocking mode, taking screenshots by swipe, putting my hand over the phone's screen to silence it, and the fast responsiveness of the handset.
I'm as satisfied as I can be with a product I didn't make myself. Now, if they had me in there with them when they were crafting this phone, it would be PERFECT! But, this is close.
The only other phone out that KINDA makes me wish I waited is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. But, I'm telling myself that the form factor of the GS3 is better because it's much more manageable. lol

what would i do without this device!

i dont know what i would dk without my s3 i went to the store last week and needed to get gas i was 5 miles to empty i filled up my tank went in to pay and realized i didnt have my wallet! How was i going to pay? Then i realized that i had my s3 and had my bank card linked to it and was able to pay for my gas via tap and pay nfc!!! So my s3 saved the day with one of its many helpfull features and with updates more and moee great features are added and discovered every now and then. So this device is a life saver and if you dont own one you need to get one. They are worth every penny!!

Amazing phone does it all

The S3 is an amazing phone and does whatever you need it to I do wish my phone would have come with Jelly Bean and I wouldn't have to wait for the update which is coming really slow from our people at Sprint. More companies need to embrace NFC as if used properly it can be a huge help for those of us with numerous club cards & gift cards.
Thank you Samsung for this absolutely amazing phone.
