Lives up to the Hype

So far the S3 dose everything it is supposed to do, and dose it well . It is fast. The screen is big and clear, big enough to be useful for short notes and typing. 1080p video is awesome. Jellybean OS is solid. The camera is awesome for both still and video. The speaker is loud enough to heard in a car and sounds good for a phone. It seems to pick up the cell signal well. The cons are the auto brightness is too dim and useless. You can't mute the camera shutter and the phone case is very smooth and slippery. Overall, still love the phone. Good investment.
The only complaint I have so far is the location of the power and volume buttons (they are easy to bump when you don't want to). Other than that I love this phone! It was a great upgrade from the Samsung Vibrant (3G). I will continue purchasing and recommending Samsung phones as long as they keep it up!
I am delighted with this phone. It does everything I want and things I didn't even know I wanted. I'm now asking myself..how in the world did I function before the Galaxy sIII?
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive

Needs better glass

This is a great buy. However, get a shock resistant case and insurance. One waist level drop shattered the glass. My Samsung Admire took more of a beating, over a longer period of time, and still no damage.
I was way overdue for a new phone but keep holding off because I couldn't find anything I really liked. I didn't want an iphone5 simply because it didn't seem like much of an improvement. The GSIII is great for both my work and personal needs. With the addition of the flip cover it's everything I need.
