Galaxy S III is an AWESOME phone!!!

I bought two Galaxy S III's for my wife and I through Sprint as an upgrade to our account. I was considering moving to the iphone 5, but we are glad we didn't make that move.
This phone is awesome, and you can do anything that you want with it. We purchased the 16GB model and have plenty of storage space so far, and can purchase an SD card to 64GB upon further need, which is fantastic as we all know an SD card is less expensive than purchasing the iphone 5 64GB phone.
Long story short, we are both very pleased with the Galaxy S III and would highly recommend this cell phone !!!

The Best phone Ive owned!

It is by far an superb phone! Does everything. My only complaint is, ever since the Jellybean update, whenever I get a text, my Svoice automatically starts. No reason for it, just does it. I've tried everything to get it to stop. There is another update coming soon, so hoping that fixes it. Other than that, it is The Perfect Phone!
Great features and functionality at a great price!
Pros: Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Email Notifications Are a Problem

The first day I had this phone, I noticed a problem with my email notifications. I had set up my yahoo email account through the phone and I had the settings programed to notify me in the status bar, but had the sound set to silent. It rang everytime I got an email, despite all my efforts to change it. I did everything I could to repair this issue. The phone could not be repaired because it is a "device issue". My carrier gave me a new phone. My new phone has the same email notification issue. I was told in the store, by an employee, that they had never heard of this issue. On a second visit to the store, I was told that the issue is with the Yahoo software update and not with Samsung. I guess I will find out for sure when I do or do not recieve an update that fixes the problem. I'm terribly disappointed because I have heard nothing but good things from all the Galaxy S3 owners I know (and I know MANY). Perhaps my expectation to have a smartphone be compatible with my email settings is just unrealistic. I do not have this problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab2. Why do I have this issue with my brand new phone?
Cons: Did not meet expectations, email notifications settings don't work

Great phone but...

The phone is great with a lot of features that I don't even use. Some features require use with a similar phone, which at this time I don't know anyone that has one. Most of my friends have iPhones or something else. The biggest problem I have is not with the phone but the service (T-Mobile). In a strong 4G area, everything works as advertised. However, in a fringe or outside of 4G, it does not. For example, in a 4G area I can talk, text, surf the web, etc. Outside of 4G I can only do one or the other, no multitasking. I did not have that problem with my Vibrant on the Edge network. Sometimes, it also drops off the network without you knowing it until you try to make a call or something. At those times, I have to either manually reconnect to the network or restart the phone. This is the only reason I gave four stars. Great phone otherwise.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, 2-way camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone was pretty good, however, the battery drains very fast, but I guess it is because I am in a 4G LTE location, but I always have the power saving function on too and the screen at the lowest possible brightness with only 2 home screens and not too many icons on both pages, total, no folders even. It has many unique options above the phone and it is good.
Pros: Lightweight, sleek, stylish
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

I came from the Epic 4G (Sprint Galaxy S1). This was a huge leap. The performance is great! The only thing I wish it had was a dedicated camera button like the Epic had. Otherwise perfect in every way.
