Truly amazing phone, its already almost two years since the release i believe, and its still better than 90% of smart phones out there. Samsung is where its at, when it comes to high quality electronics. In love with this phone!

Very nice design/features--weak software sync

There are many things I appreciate about my Galaxy S3 but the Kies software for syncing data with a PC is NOT one of them. Before I bought my Galaxy in late 2012, I had a Blackberry that seamlessly synced with my PC. Kies is leagues behind in the effectiveness of its sync process. It does not sync notes, a major hassle. The sync process is not robust or user-friendly either. I have trouble reconciling the brilliant hardware to the clumsy software. I'm on the fence.
Recently, the car enabled Hands-Free mode persistently comes on--very annoying.
My husband both purchased this phone. Where he has had no virtual problems I have. My internet connection fails all the time. I was told by service to take the battery out and put it back in. It worked for a little now I find myself doing this at least 4 times a day the phone is attractive and it has a lot of nice functions but im not happy about doing the battery thing. I will probably get a different phone in a few months. ay
Originally had Galaxy SIII through work. Liked it so much that I bought one for my personal use!
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, clear display
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Upgrade

For the last who knows how long, I've been stuck with a first generation Rumor Touch. Not ideal but functioned for the bare necessities I needed. I have to say I became sort of opaque to the idea of getting a new phone. That is until half the screen cracked for no apparent reason, rendering half the touch screen black and completely unusable. Upon inspection of the phone market for the first time in five years, I looked over many phones and decided on the S3. I can't say I could have picked a better phone. I love the S3. The layout of the features I consider ideal and well thought out. Nothing is there that wouldn't be used. The traffic feature has been a lifesaver many times on commutes home. And I can't say I don't find the fact that I can finally dip into the APP community anything less than intoxicating. Overall, I love my S3 and would recommend it to anyone I could.
I have really enjoyed the Galaxy S3, but not until the new 4.3 update came out it started to drain my battery when I wasn't even using it and I had everything turned off (wifi, mobile data, sync, everything, brightness down to the very bottom). They really haven't done much to fix these different issues with the performance of it so it makes me not want to get a Samsung phone again which is disappointing because they are great phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, not too big not too small
Cons: lacks speed and performance, 4.3 update slows it down

Love My Galaxy III

The camera is amazing and just as good as any stand alone camera. It holds a charge well (even when you forget to close active apps when finished with them)
A few months after I got mine, my dog was attracted to the pink case I had it in and I woke up to her chewing on it. Even with a hole in the screen and a crack all the way down the screen, it has held up. Waiting for Aug to be able to upgrade.
The operating system is lightening fast.
Now to decide on the G 4 or 5
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: none
I would recommend this to a friend!
