Upgraded from my EVO to the Galaxy S III. The difference maker was you can replace the battery in the Galaxy S III but not on the new EVO otherwise they are about even. The battery life is much better then my old EVO, now just waiting for Sprints 4G LTE to see what this puppy can do.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Best Android Phone Out There

There are a lot of different phones running the Android OS. This one does it the best ... by far. It's a smooth experience. Great screen. Great camera. Great phone quality. Tons and tons of features. S Voice (the talking assistant) is getting a bad rap, but it's really not that bad. This phone really does everything and it does it well.

Love this phone, has all the features and speed that I could want. Plus I love the S-beam tech which works great with my Samsung TV, no more cables. I watch movies and no more jitter.

The Galaxay S III has great features

I used to have the Blackberry 8330. One thing that is taking some time to get used to for me is the qwerty. Pushing the keys with my big figures is a challenge and a lot of the time the words that automatically pop up are not the correct ones and you have to back space to correct them. The click and drag feature is nice, but I have not mastered it yet. I like the S-voice, but I live in a rural area with weak signal and it slows that feature down. My phone seems to go through the battery charge quicker than the specs state. Overall I really like it. I just trying to get through the transition from the blackberry to the Galaxy.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, screen speed/flipping through screens, pictures and video

Fantastic piece of Tech (because it is more than just a phone)

I love this phone. I did a ridiculous amount of research on this phone (it drove my wife crazy). I have been an HTC user for years, but when comparing the S3 to the Evo, the S3 won me over hands down. The form factor is excellent, slim, slick, light, and beautiful. I read a lot of negatives that it feels flimsy, but flimsy is not the right expression. It is lean. If you want "not flimsy" go with the bulky iPhone. I think it feels solid for as light and thin as it is.
This phone is feature full as well. All the goodies of ICS and Samsung's Touchwiz overlay. S-Voice is awesome when I am not able to type, or if I just want a short cut. I love Smartstay, because I read a lot of blogs and my display would always dim and go out while I was reading. Well, not anymore.
This phone flies as well. The camera is awesome with lots of extras. I encourage you to try the Panorama feature, because creates some awesome vistas. The display totally pops. I heard a great deal of ballyhoo about the pentile display, but unless you have bionic eyes, you cannot tell. It is beautiful and bright.
I have already recommended this phone to people. Get it, Try it, Love it!!!
