The samsung galaxy s3 is the first phone that I have owned and have been really surprise how good this phone is. I can say that I have not been able to find something wrong with this phone. This phone is just too good.
My husband and I both purchased Samsung phones within the last 2 months. We have had nothing but trouble with the reception. If you look at the Sprint and Verizon customer blogs, you will see that this is a widespread issue with the Samsung s3. No matter who we are with, our friends' phones always have better reception. My phone beeps constantly telling me it is going into roaming because it can't pick up the signal. We thought this was a Sprint issue at first but now we know it is a serious problem with the phone.
i love4 my g3 i think its awesome ive had it for over a yr im thinking about getting the s4 even thogh we receive a new software update i just dont like that i cant slide the phone to make a call
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone is a great phone, but I always lose reception in places my old phone had 4g. If this wasn't an issue, I would give 5 stars all the way across!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, long battery life
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible reception
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just a temporary hype

I have always wonder how can you actually get deny your review when giving feedback to the manufacturer. Anyway ...
The device itself has its flaw and I notice it is not on every device. The notification bubble dont go away on some S3, you can get rid of it by power cycling or remove the shortcut and then add it back on. It is just a hassle and annoying but other then that, the device have great performance. The camera is amazing without and lag time, so its the multitasking with no delays.
The design make it look very cheap when you hold it on your hand, like it can be snap into pieces like a chocolate bar. The value is tie to the design, it feel cheap physically but the hardware is holding the value in perspective.
The feature of the device is not really an eye opening must have features. Most of the new feature that the device had, require setup and configuration. I am not talking about just one time setup but setup every time when you need to use the feature.
In summary, the device is not a bad device. You can show it off to your friends while the hype is still there. The only thing that I appreciate on this device is the steady performance which a lot of the phone lack this day. The "home" button is totally an imitation and not necessary, I rather have an old style side button to use your thumb and brought you back to home screen.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
