It's a fine movie worth rewatching

My biggest gripe about this movie is the absurdity of Marcus Aurelius wanting to turn Rome back into a Republic. Will the folks in Roman Britain get a vote in this new Republic or will the franchise be limited to folks to gather in the Champs de Mars like the Old Republlc? The idea is totally silly. Otherwise, it a marvellous movie. Well, the opening battle was a bit silly. Romans didn't use siege engines in ordinary battles. Well, at least the roman soldiers wore red instead of blue...
