Love my Roomba's but I wish ...

I currently own two Roomba's (and have owned two others in the past). I love that they can be scheduled to run when I am out, and that they keep pet hair picked up around my house. I only get the "big" vacuum cleaner out very ocassionally as my carpets and floors are generally lint, pet hair, and dust free! My main issues are that the Roomba's get full quickly (empty daily for me), filters clog quickly (clean or replace weekly) and the brushes need frequent cleaning (pet hair wrapped around the ends and in the bearings etc). Also after a few months they get noiser. I find that completely disassembling and cleaning out the lint and pet hair from the internal workings reduces the noise. After all these years (over 15) of owning Roomba's I am disappointed to that iRobot has not fixed these issues. Roomba's are not cheap, they shoud not have these issues. If you are willing to do the frequent cleaning (empty the bin daily, clean the filters weekly (or more), and spend 10 minutes cleaning junk out of the brushes as needed) they are great.

I have borrowed an older irobot from a friend to see if it was worth the money...I have Fibromyalgia and vaccuming is very difficult for me...if I manage to get it done there is usually not enough energy left over to put the machine away. I breed long coated chihuahuas that live in my house with me as well as my old ruff collie...dog hair is a problem! My friends irobot has done an excellent job..I am amazed..this is a real deal, not a gadget! I have had it for a week and used it every day and today ordered my own 650 irobot and also one to wash the floors! Sure hope they are as effective as this little old guy. I will write another review once I have received my new robots and given them a try.

I just purchased the Roomba 650 as a Christmas gift for my wife. It's boxing day now and we just setup the Roomba and let it run for 30 minutes before docking it. WE ARE BOTH SHOCKED at how much dirt this device took from our carpet & tiled floors. We own a central vac and had used it often.(now offically retired thanks to the Roomba) The Roomba 650 is an amazing device. Very efficient operation. Very cool also. Well worth the money already and we are on Day 1!

I live in an old farm house with my husband stepdaughter and a dog that sheds nonstop. We have a big garden every year and the dirt piles up on the floors. I have wanted a Roomba for years and this year my husband got me one for our anniversary. I am soooo happy! I could never get the floors clean enough to walk around barefoot and now, thanks to "Rosie" I can! She gets the floors clean without pushing the furniture out of the way. Best of all, I can do other housework while the floors are being cleaned!

I call her Hazel and she works hard everyday to get up our messes. I would hate to be without her. We have a dog that sheds like crazy and my husband does yard work as his hobby, they are in and out time after time all day long everyday. It was just too much for me to keep up with. I asked for the IRobot for my birthday last year and I'm so happy I did. My hardwood floors, tile floors and room size carpet areas stay so clean that my husband and I are amazed. IRobot cleans the whole house every morning without fail. I have told everyone I know to get the IRobot and start enjoying life again.

I'm the dog mom of two large Rottweiler's who shed quite a bit as we live in the beautiful south. I am also disabled and vacuuming is very painful for me. I was given the Roomba 650 as a Christmas gift one year ago (2015) and it was the best gift ever! Lana (her name) runs at 4am every morning. I empty her full bin when I get up every day and walk across my clean floors. My older dog knows how to push the start button if she is ever stuck on something, lol. I have encouraged three friends to purchase Roomba 600-900 series since having mine, all have been happy with theirs, too.
