My wife has wanted a Roomba for years. I kept telling her it was a waste of money... and I was WRONG! Alice goes on her merry way every morning at 8:00 AM and comes back full. I just don't know were it is finding all this dirt. She has run every day for two months and it has only been empty once. A few words about how Alice works, don't freak out with the vacuuming pattern, we thought it was going to miss spots...it doesn't. I have told anyone who will listen about how awesome it is and am trying to convince my wife we need one for upstairs. Best Purchase ever!!
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use, Hassle Free Operation
Cons: Noisy, Small Debris Bin

I have the 800, not cheap but the extras are not worth the cost. The robot does a good job but the towers to keep it in the room does not work nor does the remote. Plus I can never find it when it is finished. I search everywhere, the thing hides. I works well under beds when carpeted or hardwood.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use
Cons: Misses Spots, Noisy, will not stay in the room

I finally bought this last week after a lot of research. We are a three person and a dog household. Two of us are Seniors and two are disabled and it has become difficult to keep up. I've been running it every day, overnight in the living area and morning in the bedroom area. This eliminates the noise annoyance. I'm amazed at how much it picks up, especially the dog hair. It also picked up a lot of the dust after the dust storm we had the other day, that surprised me. Having it go under the couch, beds and entertainment center has certainly made my job easier. It makes me laugh to see the dog watching it approach then finally getting up and moving. I was concerned that it would bother her but she seems to enjoy it as much as I do. It's a wonderful product.

Short and sweet: The Roomba 650 is easy to operate and does a decent job sweeping/vacuuming different surfaces. The auto-return feature works well (give it space to return). It easily gets around obstacles and has a long battery life. It works as advertised. I wish it had a larger dirt bin -- besides that, great investment and time saver!

The best for carpet , pet hair and floor

I bought this for my son, he has hardwood floors and two cats, he let me use it while on vacation, I have carpet and tile floor, three cats, I love this and my son as well, easy to use, easy to clean I go off and clean the kitchen while it vacuums the house. Love it. I have the 630 model

A huge time saver

I use it to clean the tile floors and carpeting in my 900 square foot condo. It works great! I hardly ever have to sweep or vacuum anymore. It's easy and simple to use too. I do have a very open floor plan without a lot of stuff around to get in its way and I think this helps make it more effective. My floors also tend to get really dirty since I work outdoors (dirt gets tracked in). Roomba handles the excess dirt with no problems.

Cons: Noisy, Pricey

I use the 650 about once a week. Clean it every 3 or 4 uses, Never had a problem.

I purchased this machine expecting to return it. With me and my wife working, we needed the house cleaned as much as possible. The answer was roomba. Thank you for making a great product. I'm a customer for life
