Love this little helper!

I use this product mostly every day. I have 3 pets that shed, so it is very helpful in picking up cat and dog hair, as well as litter that has scattered on floor. I've used it both on tile and carpet and seems to work well on both surfaces. It's pretty easy to empty, clean, and change filters.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Power Output, Simple Instructions

I'm a restaurant manager who works 60 hours a week. Once I'm behind on house cleaning I tend to give up and only do things that require my immediate attention. This genius creation has changed my life. Now I don't feel so behind and I can actually enjoy my free time when I finally get it. I have a very small house with cats and just like everyone else I was AMAZED at how much dirt, fur, and hair that this thing picks up. It is astounding! I had no idea how dirty my house actually was. I prefer to move easily picked up items like end tables and small chairs to that Iona has free reign. She is very sensitive to curtains and cat toys and I rarely have any problems with her getting hung up on anything but it does help to pick up the toys first. The maintenance required is actually a pleasure. I don't mind the time spent cleaning her wheels and brushes because the makers have made it very simple to do so. One thing you should note: The three pronged rotating brush will get hair around the central prong located inside the rotating mechanism. all you have to do to fix this is remove the screw and take out the hair. I had to figure that one out on my own but was actually proud of myself when it worked! Seriously. This is so worth it. Mom got this model for me after reading these reviews. The reviews for the 700 series were not so reassuring. Honestly, sometimes I think companies try to update perfection in order to maintain higher prices. They need to stop trying to fix what isn't broken. Note: I've only had Iona for 2 months. If she continues to work so successfully I will always own one.

I'm sorry for people that don't have one

Our home is 5400 Sq. Ft on three levels. I purchased my 1st I Robot, a 595, and was so happy that I bought a 2nd one, a 650. I'm pretty sure I will be buying a 3rd model, probably another 650, for our 3rd level. My wife is semi-invalid and she can no longer vacuum and I don't have the time to do so! I'm supposed to be retired, but I drive school bus and that keeps me busy. We are very pleased with the two machines we have. We have no pets and I really didn't think that the 1st machine would pick up much of anything but I was very surprised how much it picked up! We are both happy with it's ability to go under furniture, especially beds and get at stuff that would normally get missed, with regular vacuuming. I have already recommened this product to many friends and our son has bought one, a 595.
Pros: And Re-programable When, Easy To Use, Efficient, Good Power Output, Needed, Programable, Simple Instructions
Cons: Has Not Always Been Able, The Charging Station, To Find It's Way Back To

We bought our 650 over 2 years ago and it works every other day. Touch wood we have NO issues with it. My only complaint (and it isn't the units fault) is that our sofa and chairs are just high enough for it to get under, however, there are areas where the height falls so she gets stuck. (See how I went for 'it' to 'she'). We have 2 Siberian Huskys that shed all year around so this thing need to WORK as described and she did. Yes they aren't cheap. But, it does allow you to get away with only having to bring out the BIG GUN once a week instead of every day. Be warned though...if you get one, you will spend the first 2 or 3 outings just watching it (and get nothing else done!!) PS: We took ours to another family member to let them see it...they bought the 960 series and LOVE it!
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: The brush can be a pain to clean

I just love Rosie! So much so, that I bought one for my daughter-in-law and another for my step daughter...they both love it too! My husband cannot stand to hear her when he's up (so I run her everyday before we get up). I personally don't mind hearing someone else vacuuming my floors!! I've had her about 2 years now and just had to buy a new battery - thought about getting a new one but there is actually nothing wrong with this one that a new battery wouldn't fix - its slowing down and not vacuuming as long as it used too.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Extends Functionality, Inconspicuous Design, Increases Performance

My iRobot that I have just named "Roberto" is the best cleaning assistant I have! I am going to let my not-so-good housecleaning service go, because 99% of the dirt I'm dealing with is on my floors. I have very difficult stone kitchen and bathroom floors, laminate, hardwood and area rugs. Roberto gets all of this done even though I do have to lift him into the kitchen in bathroom to make him work because there is a high lip, he has no problem going down it if I forget to put up the virtual wall. Only problem I've really had within the first week, is that Robert, like my two dogs (who create a lot of dirt), likes to get right under my feet no matter where I go in the 3 bedroom house. Roberto likes me a little too much! ;-)
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use, Hassle Free Operation, Long Run Time, Too Much Furniture In Pat
Cons: Noisy, Small Debris Bin

Love my new Roomba

I had back surgery & vacuuming is one of the hardest cleaning jobs on my back. I love the Roomba b/c it's light enough to carry upstairs. It is a bit loud but that doesn't bother me at all. I vacuum downstairs when i'm up and visa versa. It has gotten stuck a couple of times but it just stops so it doesn't cause any problems. So far I only use it when I'm home. I'm ordering one for my elderly mother. I took mine over to her place & she loved it especially for getting under the bed and sofa. I just wish they had a mini one for carpeted stairs.
Pros: Easy To Use, don't have to push around the house, great for elderly, perfect for people with back problems

Our golden doodle doesn't shed much, but he velcros leaves, dirt, and pine needles into the house. Ruby does 99% of the pickup. We still need the Shark for corners and furniture, but we have been very pleased with Ruby's ability to function well on both hardwood and area rugs and under and around furniture. We also like her random pattern as it doesn't wear out the rugs ;) We're still trying to find the right docking location. It seems that Ruby's only acceptable locations are in our traffic areas. We have two pieces of furniture which invite Ruby's getting stuck. She's found one of them. This should be fixed by adding sensor antennae/switches front and back to prevent her from wedging herself under furniture. Looks good so far.

Cons: Needs Height Switch, Picky About Dock Location
