This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life, it had a dumb storyline and there wasn't many zombies. They never really went after the zombies either, they just ran away from them the entire movie. If you make a zombie movie, you have to make a lot more gorier and violent to be an amazing zombie unlike Dawn of the Dead which was incredible. If you're looking for a good zombie movie don't watch this, you'll just waste your time. Although, the sequel to this (28 Weeks Later) doesn't look that bad. Since it comes out tomorrow I might have to go rent it to see if it's any good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is a great movie and it was a genius concept but there is not enough infecteds (zombies) for my taste

What's not so great: not enough infecteds (Zombies)

Before I saw this movie, I thought it was going to be another run off the mill average D horror movie. But I couldn't of been any more mistaken. 28 Days Later, not only had great acting, but the story was so diifferent from any other zombie infection movie. The storyline had so much depth to it. You never know what is going to happen next. Even though it is a horror movie, there is plenty of comedic comments and situations the charcters get themselves in to. Cillian Murphy is a great break out actor and there will be a lot more films from him, I can assure you of that. There is so much art direction in this movie, and the music is dramatically moving.
What's great about it: Amazing acting, great storyline, and an uncanning direction by the director.
What's not so great: No cons, only pros!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a great idea for a movie. This movie is even believable too some degree. I highly enjoyed the zombie violence and the sense of hoplessness. There are some parts in the movie though that seem way dragged out and that could have been reduced in time. That is the reason I am not giving it 4 stars.

This is one of those movies that sounds like it could be a lost/win situation it was o.k. because the plot was monkeys infected with rage ,kind of put you in like 12 monkeys zombie horror movie witch is not to bad.Not many people die in this movie but it's worth a look.
What's great about it: acting,plot,cast
What's not so great: needs more kills

Great zombie flick

This is a great movie. It is not just a great horror movie but just a great movie in general. It is action packed. It is very psychological. It is very symbolic. And it has an amazing soundtrack.
In the movie all of the "infected" were driven by rage. I think the writer intended this to symbolize the world in general, for example, war, politics, etc. The beginning where Cilian wakes up in the hospital to the whole city being deserted gets me every time. It really gets you thinking. The effects are really cool as well. Most people do not know that most of the movie had to have all the city's citizens edited out to make it look like there was no one there.
Overall this movie is amazing. Go buy it.
What's great about it: action, psychological thriller
What's not so great: ending not up to par
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved this movie because it was not like any other "predictable" zombie movies. It also had a great story and it was actually scary.

Amazing director Danny Boyle gives life to a great story.It's not a zombie movie, but gave a zombie apocalypse vibe.I loved the camera angles and the soundtrack was equally awesome.I personally would have liked a little more gore, but thats just me.A great movie to pop in on a stormy night!
What's great about it: cinematography and soundtrack
What's not so great: O.K. ending
