Small device with a powerful punch!

I have used this extensively to upload documents and e-mail/forward them or save them to my computer. It really reduces the clutter, allowing me to go paperless to save important documents.

i have used many scanners over the years - to the point I can remember when no one had one that was Mac compatible. this unit is compact, easy to install and generates excellent pegs and pdfs with very little hassle. I use it as our primary scanner because we can plug it into any of out macs and get quality scans in a hurry. Epson has always been a good brand and even though I have not used their printers for awhile now as I have reduced our hard copy requirements by a large factor, this little machine is right up there as I can just move it to the back of the desk until I need it- or move it to my macbook etc. The sole reason I didn't give it ALL the stars, is an occasional glitch in the operating system if you want to store the output other than the default place; nor can you rename files easily. Minor stuff. It's great scanner.

Pretty easy to set up, it has a nice easy to read image. It would be nice if it was a little easier to name and save the document.

Very satisfied with the scanner. Easy to use and excellent quality. Size makes for easy packing. I travel a lot and it is extremely useful in my business activities.

I am returning the scanner to the store. It scanned my document without a problem, the reason I am returning it is that it will not allow me to save the document under the title I want, rendering the scanned item useless to me. I attempted using 2 of the programs that came with it and after searching the useless users guide for information, I decided that this was not for me. I may have to pay more for the one I ultimately purchase, but I can guarantee that it will allow me to save my documents under the name I want, not what the manufacturer thinks I should use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think the scanner is great except I have just spent hours copying things that are blank. Perhaps a simple instruction sheet would help. Right side down would have helped and saved me hours!

this little machine is a work horse- it has save me hours of faxing. just scan and then e-mail to my customers- very clear paper work when the customer reads them, I am very happy with this unit. porable also for on the road..Great san on the business cards also
