I used this scanner 5 times and now i can't scan any documents. It just keeps giving me the same error message. And there is very little help on the Epson website on how to fix the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The scanner worked fine when I had a windows computer, but now that I switched to a Mac, OS X 10.10.5, I can't get it to work.
I downloaded the drivers from the site and restarted my computer, but still no luck.
I gave it as high as a 2 because it did work on windows, but doesn't work with what I need now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson DS-30 Scanner

Got it yesterday and have already scanned in business cards and various documents with it. Easy to set up and get running. Very convenient to have it right next to computer. Great scans and the software is excellent. This is a lot better way of scanning than with my old flatbed scanner. Can easily take this with me. I like it.

The written installation instructions were not as complete as I expected. I know that the help is available online, but I started the installation offline due to router problems. The equipment is great, easy to use and the scan quality is awesome. I love it's portability: this scanner is my best buddy while working outside the office. I also love the scanner software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Travel Scanner

Scanner was easy to install, came with a travel case.
It was stated that scanner would allow scanned pdf files to be edited. This is not the case.

bought this to get rid of some of my papers and have them digitized. it scanned 90% of my papers in no time at all. without issues as well. now i have to sort thru the files and rename them. its just a complete space saver since i got rid of 2 of those banker boxes full of papers.
