Well I scanned a total of four very important documents and so far so good. Documents showed up very clear and straight.

Handy portable scanner

I like it. I can leave it attached to my computer and copy papers that would just stack up otherwise. It does a splendid job even with photos that require higher resolution.

Spent an hour so far troubleshooting. Didn't work at all, then lots of updates and reinstalling softwear, then extremely slow. If I can't figure it out soon, plan to return it.

Fairly Easy Install and First Time Scan

While the UI is bleak, thin and stiff, the unit scanned without any issues after a quick download and install on my MacBook Air. The unit is small and light and works. Since I have only used it once I would prefer to hold off on further comments until later.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ds-30 not a good buy

I used the scanner in a short records project of less than 200 scans. last week I had another office project so I used my New Desk top to do the records. after loading the disk I had difficulty with the process. the scanner kept jamming when there was no paper in the machine and thus slowed the work to a crawl to clear the screen and save. Immediately after I lost Office 2013. after several day of struggling to get the computer back I took it to the Tec for repair and after several hours of labor and $, We found that ABBY did my Office 2013 and computer in
