This has proven to be a workhorse scanner. It is my primary scanner for documents. It's portability has been a bonus. The only negative I can think of is it is is kind of slow, but that is a small price to pay for the benefits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like this scanner. It is easy to set up and use. I like the functionality that allows me to select the file type I want to use for the scanned document. The only thing I really don't care for is the fact it expects a page number and then it doesn't reset the number when the scanning has been completed. However, that is not a showstopper for me. This is a great device and it scans very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Handy Little Scanner!

Bought it for use in NY following Hurricane Sandy. It turned out to be very handy indeed! I think the best part of it is that it's USB powered, so you don't need anything to power it but your laptop. Works quick and is relatively clear. Huge help if you can't take someone's originals and there's no copies for taking!

Good portable scanner

Loading paper in it evenly is a bit tricky, but it does a nice job and the Document Capture Pro that comes with the software CD helps a lot. Its highly portable, takes up little room and does the job quickly. I like it.

Easy to use, scans documents in quickly, and requires minimal setup. Very impressive for a scanner that weighs only 1 lb. and connects to your computer. Will bring it along on all my business trips.

scanner seems to have a flaw

I use it to scan my receipts but there seems to be a flaw in it performance. If there is a dark bar about 1/8 inch wide or wider on the receipt the scanner stops instantly and rejects the rest. This is the way my dentist bills are on a 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper and no can do. Also it seems if the receipt is over say 14 inches long it rejects the rest.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
