We bought this small portable scanner to supplement our larger Epson scanner, printer, copier. It's USB powered, weighs less than a pound and come with a nice pouch for storage and carrying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just bought my DS-30 two hours ago, it took only a few minutes to install the software and I was up and running in no time. I find this scanner very convenient to perform my job as it meets all my business needs. I meet with clients many time out of my office and now I can gather all the information I need to provide my services quickly and accuratley. This scanner is light, efficient, and works like a charm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The scanner itself is a nice product. Compact, easy to use and makes nice copies of your scans for filing. Biggest disappointment is that Epson does not make a carrier sheet for scanning numerous small receipts at one time. Had I known that initially I would've picked something else.

Needed a scanner for on the road sending bills into brokers for payment. Works great no longer have to search for a fax machine & pay outrages amounts for faxing.

Easy to use

Small, portable, easy to use color scanner. It does not need a power supply, so it works well on the road with a laptop/notebook computer. Does what I need it to do. Very happy with it.

I am still learning about setting up copiers and scanners. Epson WorkForce DS-30 was easy to install and use. It is easy to store when not in use. You can take it with you if need be. Scanned items look super.

Not a good scanner for home use.

I bought this scanner about 3 mos a go and had significant problems using it. I have only used 3 times and have had to go back to the beginning to get it to work. Today, I am trying to use it, can get the scanner started, i.e, no green light, even though I reinstalled the drivers and utilities. I know this is a very inexpensive scanner, but I expect it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
