One of the BEST TV series I've ever watched. Blew me away with how involved I became in the series and the characters. The only downside is that it was cancelled after a year. Serenity, the movie, however, is a must watch after seeing the TV show!

I understand why this show was cancelled. Not that it is a bad show because the show is fantastic. It just isn't for everyone and by the time people started watching it, it's time was up and it was cancelled.
The show is one of those shows that needs to find it's audience and space westerns are a different breed. It was a great show, with good stories, good acting and likeable characters. Unfortunately the bigwigs didn't want to stick with it long enough for word of mouth to get around and build it's audience.
The set includes all 12 episodes that aired and 3 that didn't. It also has a decent gag reel and behind the scenes stuff.
I got this on Black Friday for $9, so it was a definite deal.
