Powerful, great features, VERY happy!

I bought this as a replacement for a much older unit in my single bedroom, 800 sq. ft. apartment-style condo. So many pros: remote control, energy saver mode, timer, 4 fan modes. It quickly provides relief on those blistering summer days. My favorite features are the remote (which allows you to easily change the fan speed, mode and temperature without having to move from the comfortable position you just found on the couch) and the timer. I love that I can set the unit for a certain time, knowing I will come home to a cool house.
This unit is positioned in my living room and, while I have a unit in my bedroom as well, I don't feel I need to use it as often because this Fridgiaire unit cools so well.
The only con is, the fan seems to be louder compared to my older model. However, staying cool is more important than a quiet unit to me.
Buy this unit! You won't be disappointed.

Put this in our garage. Even with temps of 120 degrees it cooled the three car garage down to 78 degrees. Cost was minimal. Love it living in hot hot Arizona

Great cooling power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this ac to replace another Frigidaire that failed... It took time but Frigidaire bought back the old one that was still under warranty which allowed me to buy a new Frigidaire ac. This new one works great with strong cooling breeze, good remote and not to loud.

It Does What It Says

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a discontinued model that failed. Getting support for the dying model was quite a chore; however, Electrolux covered it under warranty and sent a debit card to cover the cost for replacement. The new model slipped easily into the existing sleeve and cools the room. I couldn't ask for more.
