A demented squirrel sacrificed himself on transformer and killed power to our house at THE WORST possible time. Not only was I able to finish the document via the light from the night lite I keep plugged into this along with the computer and the screen, I was able to save and e-mail it in before the deadline.

Great backup for light power applications

Using this at a customer's location to provide battery backup to a network router and two switches. For this purpose, it's perfect and I give it 5 stars.
For anyone with less tech knowledge, be aware of what you are getting. This 425va power supply will keep our 60w of networking hardware running for some time, but your 350w computer & 60w monitor may only last 5 min. Also, anyone reading the product description on this site should be aware that when it says "printers", it is referring to an inkjet. This cannot power a laser printer.

I bought this backup battery to replace one that didn't work for me. It's great. I just wish all outlets were connected got to the battery, only half of them are. Not good. And nowhere in the box I read that. Maybe it's in the small print. I tried it and it works great though.
