Lightning causes power interruptions constantly in the rainy season here in Florida. I put the modem, the router and the phone system on the UPS and my downtime has been greatly reduced. I know it's abit of overkill, but considering the low price, the item will probably pay for itself by reducing labor costs in a few months.
What's great about it: No trips to the wiring closet to reset things
What's not so great: Not much
I would recommend this to a friend!

I needed a backup power supply for my cable modem, wireless router & Ethernet switch. This product was the lowest cost option, yet provides backup if power is lost.
What's great about it: Low cost
What's not so great: Nothing

I was having trouble with my PC which was already plugged into surge suppressors, every time my condo's air conditioner cycled off. This may have been due to lower AC voltages from the power company during the summer heat. This product does a great job of isolating the power and keeping it regulated with the battery backup features. I had tried several other ways to "smooth" out the power but this was a great solution for less than $50. I have not had even one problem since I started using it.

We bought this UPS AFTER we lost our computer in a storm.
The surge protector we thought we had our computer hooked into was actually just a power bar.
Don't make that mistake.
This Cyber Power UPS is easy to understand how to plug into it. and it will give you peace of mind.
I do wish it was a bit smaller because it won't fit just everywhere, so you have to keep that in mind,
They do make a narrower one which might be better in some places.
