My new favorite.

For me this is the best razor I have owned. I have tried both foil
and rotary and the F5 is the only one that doesn't leave my face
burning or feeling like it's been through a blender. I am 51 and
my beard is like straws now but I still have a baby face so for me
using shave cream and a disposable are out of the question because
I always wind up looking like I lost a knife fight. With the F5, It just
takes me a few minutes even though my beard grows in different
directions. It still leaves my face touchable and it doesn't feel like it's
been pricked by needles. It works very well for me. Thank You Remington.

My old razor's battery was not holding a charge and needed new cutters, so it only made sense to move up to a new razor. I tried one of Remington's Rotary shavers, it was a nice lightweight, quiet razor but I just couldn't get it to shave as close as my old foil razor and couldn't get above my lip (mustache area) well at all. Remington was very prompt in returning my purchase price for that unit. So I bought this F5. Nice razor! Shaves well. I am very happy with this unit and very satisfied with Remington's return policy for the Rotary I tried). The intercept trimmer has eliminated all those little stray hairs that seem to spring up in the neck area. The best shave is when I use a pre-shave lotion; but I still get a good shave without the pre-shave lotion.

The generic multi model instructions included are too vague for my taste. When plugged in the charge lights flash. Supposed to? Do they stop when charged? For the cost of a piece of paper the presentation of the product could be so much more professional, and informative.

Great razor period

I've owned this razor for about 9 months and can truly say it's the best I've owned. I had A couple of Brauns, two Panasonics, and two Norelcos, and one Philips. This one hands-down is the best so far and at the price point (particularly on Amazon), it cannot be beat. Easy to clean (important to keep it clean!), very close shave and comfortable with great battery life. Can't recommend enough.

Hello all. I have, in the past, had a few N-branded triple rotary shavers. I followed my grandfather's lead and went with that brand. He said it was the "best". Well, after shaving with that particular type of shaver, I developed no attachment to it. In fact, it always took many, many circular passes to remove my stubble, and just simple never gave me a blade-like shave. I just though that this was normal as far as electric shavers go, so I wasn't inclined to try a foil type, thinking that they probably wouldn't be any better.
Fast forward many years to today.....OH MY!!!! I have been smitten by this F5 (F5800) Remington! This foil shaver is, without a doubt, the BEST thing in shaving I have ever experienced. Blade-like shaves for the very first time in my life from an electric shaver! Also, NO skim irritation or trying until I'm sweating to get the stubble cut down, like with my previous rotary shavers!. I simply get a powerful, well balanced, and ergonomically perfect (for my big hands) shaver that just goes to town on my facial hair, gobbling up every bit of it like Pac-Man eats pixels!
To the engineers at Remington...Here's a big hive-five, and pat on the back!!! To the rest of the team, way to go!!!

Bravo Remington,I'm one of those people that can not afford to spend 200 on a electric razor.I got your F-5800 about 2 weeks ago and I love it.I got a Braun 3040 awhile back and returned it 2 days later.Your F-5800 is amazing,it cuts very close without giving me razor burn and the charge lasts along time.Your positing of the trimmer on the back is excellant also,perfect type of trimmer and position of it.Thank you for making a affordable excellant quality electric razor.Well done,I will spread the word to all my friends and family about your amazing razor.
