This is a very good electric shaver for the most part. It shaves very good, closer than my old razor. Only complaint is after using it for about 4 months the trimmer quit trimming. It works but just doesn't cut. Have to resort back to my old shaver to do any trimming of sideburns or mustache.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery gauge poor

Shaver very good except battery gauge, after 6 uses gauge shows red 0%. I have shaved 8 times since then with gauge still red at zero, with battery still strong. I would expect the gauge to show zero and have 1 or 2 five minute shaves before it's dead. Longevity of unit has not been evaluated yet.

Needed to replace my old Remington

I had a old Remington that served well for years. I bought the F5800 based on Web reviews. It gives a close comfortable shave and cuts long hair easily. It deals with my beard well even when I don’t shave for several days. Time will tell if it will be as reliable as my old Remington.
