The Tripod is well thought out - it's just right for tabletop close-ups and the head swivels easily and locks. However, the tripod is too light-weight to support a camera (pocket size) to take downward facing close-ups - the reason we bought it. Right now we are trying to construct a weight to place on the opposing leg. Recommend with reservation!!
