I needed a small tripod device that could also serve as a short handle. This tripod does the trick. The design and quality is good and with a small rubber band used at the base, the legs will stay together for a nice camera handle. This is a lite-weight tripod so a heavier camera may make it top heavy. It seems fine with my Go Pro. Can't beat the price and value.

What's great about it: Small, stable and can be used as a simple handle as well for my Go Pro Hero 3+.
What's not so great: The tripod stand is a little on the light side, so it is somewhat top heavy with a camera attached.

This is a solid piece of equipment to add to a small/beginner camera setup. It's easy, and does what it's advertised for. This is great for the price and so far feels very solid. I expect to have this for quite a while without any issues.

This is the handiest little gadget to have on hand. I don't do a lot of photography where a tripod is needed, but for low light long exposure shots this little sucker is GREAT... I've been doing some macro stuff with it - jewelry, gemstones, random stuff - and it's exactly what I need! Fits right in my purse too. It was so affordable & great to have around. Glad I saw it on my out of Best Buy!

I should've trusted the reviews for this small tripod--that it works well with point & shoot cameras but tends to fall forward with a "real" DSLR camera. It wants to fall over with my Nikon mounted on it. It seems fine for small cameras, though. Nicer build quality than some other small tripods I've seen.
