The pen is mightier than the... finger.

I have been eyeing The Galaxy Tab 10.1 line since I got the original Galaxy Tab 7.0. The S Pen is what finally pushed me over the line from window shopper to happy owner :) I have always hated having to clean smudges off my screen, and the S Pen lets me minimize how often I have to do that now.The only complaint I have so far is that there are not a ton of apps that fully support the S Pen and its 1024 levels of pressure. Everything is super smooth, no slowdowns, even with the multi-screen. I really like how light the Touch Wiz skin is, it's very close to vanilla Android ICS. All in all I am very happy with the Note 10.1 and its one of very few devices that I did not get buyers remorse after buying.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not a lot of s pen optomized apps yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Tool for work and play

I have had this for 3 weeks and it is amazing. using it for notes at meetings and seminars is spectacular.. The ability to handwrite notes and have them translated to text immediately makes meetings much more productive. I definitely recommend this product for anyone that takes a lot of notes.
I have found no issues or problems with this tablet! I love all of the ways to manipulate photos and just love the speed at which it runs!
Having the speakers on the front of the tablet makes listening to music a joy.

LOVE MY NOTE 10.1

I love this tablet. It the type of tablet ive been waiting for.
Love the multiscreen feature, but wish the multiscreen feature applied to more apps.
My battery life is pretty good.
Love smart stay feature.
A great tool for work for all of my many meetings and note taking.
Things i want to see Improved
1. Want Jelly Bean update.
2. Want Air View, which is coming stock with the release of Note ll phone.
3. Want Easy Clip
4. Need Learning Hub

5. Dont like the charging port on the bottom of the tablet. Same design as galaxy tab 10.1
With this updates i would give Notqe 10.1 a 5 star.

Fast tablet

I got the Galaxy Note 10.1 three days ago. I like the speed and how smooth this tablet performs. Not Sure if I like The plastic back. But that is Samsung . Almost No accessories yet. I like a Keyboard but this pen is great . I use the pen for almost everything once I got use to it . This is a great tablet For Students or if you like to draw or just writing in a journal . The sound quality is also very good with The speakers on the front. The battery is good but I would like a removable battery if I could Choose. Five Stars.

Love my First Tablet

I will preface by saying I am not a Techy at all. I do not have a smartphone, etc. I am fairly computer literate as long as my computer is behaving itself! My husband and and I decided to venture into the 21st century and take the leap. We went to the store to compare this Samsung Galaxy 10.1 with the IPad. We wanted to see, touch and hold the two devices. We were fortunate (I guess) that the Samsung rep was at the store. I had done some homework, checked reviews of both devices, etc. After talking to the rep, he confirmed what I had read, that this device would be perfect. After a brief lesson, we took it home and find it very user friendly. It is much faster than my pc or my laptop! Highly recommend.

Hands down the best productivity tablet out there

I am a proficient tablet user. The maker of my previous tablet went under 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately, it was the only tablet introduced to the market that had crisp handwriting that simulated the real deal. I have waited diligently for this little tablet for at least a year with rumors of a tablet like this being circulated around various tablet forums.
I am an educational administrator which means I attend lots of meetings, review lots of documents and have to track lots of data. Other tablets on the market that my colleagues have used did not deliver the dynamic performance, particularly with handwriting, that I was seeking. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has lived up to my expectations and has exceeded them.
Expectations:
*Crisp Handwriting
*Create, edit various types of documents
*interface with cloud-based storage
*Google App store
*Efficiency of running apps
Exceeds:
*Multi-tasking using multi-screen view. Very handy for reviewing a document and taking notes
*Speaker quality with front-facing speakers
*Task manager that allows me to rapidly go between several documents, apps or websites while keeping them all running
*Photo Touch editor
*Organization of S notes app
*Weight--very light

Outstanding Product, Unlimited Potential

This product is awesome! I have been thinking of getting an iPad or tablet, and when I went out shopping I found this. I can say hands down it is the best tablet product on the market and the price is very comparable. The features are outstanding, the capabilities and expandability far exceed those of other similar devices. The S-pen feature is really the most decisive feature in all aspects of design and functionality.
I am a returning professional college student and this product has begun to simplify my learning experience and expand my time and effort towards course content. From S-pen note taking features, photo's of examples in class, using the wireless service to store data wireless while having access to it from my Galaxy S3 or personal computer.
Overall, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a tablet. The possibilities are endless towards any type of productivity.
