I saw this product advertised with a ridiculously low price tag and figured what the heck. After plugging it in and connection my iPhone I was blown away by the sound. It is ridiculously simple to use and connect to. I had it playing on Christmas day and had several people want to take it home with them, they were that impressed with the sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worthless as wakeup alarm clock

I bought it mainly to use it as a alarm clock. Since the unit goes to sleep to save energy and cannot be woken by the iphone this does not work.
For some reason cannot connect with a macbook air via bluetooth, which is another problem for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this docking station has the best tone quality and was too easy to set up, my only complaint is that it, the dock itself, doesnt have a alarm on it, that you must d through your device GET THIS STATION it is well worth it

The "easy to read" display IS NOT easy to read --in fact it's horrible. I wouldn't have bought this if I intended use it as a bedroom alarm clock. although the dim feature is thoughtful. One really annoying thing is that it keeps switching to bluetooth when I have it set to auxillary input. The AmpUP app, free version does not have equalizer..??????? Couldn't figure it out, so i just don't want to use it.

make a great stero for playing music. grandaughter listens to music on her iPhone.
Now when she desires she can listen to music without earphones and the sound that comes from the JBL OnBeat aWake is great for such a small unit.

Fantastic sound

I do not use the alarm feature, but the sound is fantastic for its size and the Bluetooth works great. Some of the best speakers I have owned!

Bluetooth doesnt work

I had this docking station about a month. At first, I loved thisproduct. The bluetooth was great and the sound qaulity was (and still is) amazing. After about 2 1/2 weeks the bluetooth no longer worked. I have tried 4 different devices. 2 iphones, a ipod touch and a andriod phone along with a ipad 2. It says that it cannot connect. I have tried unplugging the speaker for 15 mimutes and it still wouldnt work. Im at a loss for what to do to get the bluetooth to work. The docking part works great but when i want to work on the device and listen to music its a pain. Please help me! IM AT A LOSS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
