outstanding sound for a portable device

Bought this on New Years Eve to provide background music for our party. Very pleased with the sound quality and the available volume. Tried it with an older Ipod nano loaded in the dock and a new nano connected via bluetooth. Very pleased with both methods.

Great speakers with a flaw

These speakers are amazing! Good bass that does not interfere with the great speakers. I love this product but there is a flaw, a rather big one. I don't know if it is my device (iPod touch 4th gen) or the speakers, but after 30 min using bluetooth i loose connection and have to restart bluetooth. Further more, I you start a video after the beginning then the sound is way off from whats happening on the screen. Don't let these negatives put you off, when bluetooth gets better, so will my problems. I would defiantly get the JBL OnBeat aWake again, even though it is not always OnBeat.

Vary happy with this but if there was a stereo aux out this would be amazing device. The capabilities would open up a new world.

Speaker works perfectly, app doesn't work at all.

Speaker works perfectly, but the app doesn't work at all... The moment your phone locks, the alarm doesn't go off anymore. If there would be one update on the app, this would be a great speaker!

Great sound but did not realize it needed an adapter for the Iphone 5. Couldnt find one offered by JBL so had to find one elsewhere!

I bought this as gift for my son. when he set up his phone to play, which he did very easily and quickly. I couldn't believe the quality of the sound that came from it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
