The sound isn't quite cd quality, but it's still better than the radio. For less than $20, it's definitlely worth the money to not have to carry around three cases of cds. Especially for older cars that don't have cd players.

I went into Best Buy looking to buy an ipod adapter for my truck. Looked at some of the prices and was shocked. No way was i paying $60 for some transmitter. I went to a sales rep and she pointed this out. I dont need any fancy wireless over the air play and charge cool color adapter. This is perfect. Plug it in to the cassette deck then into the ipod and you are good to go! $15 and its been a month and there hasnt been a problem whatsoever. Go buy it if your looking for the basics.
What's great about it: basic adapter does what it needs to do

well this does the job i guess it does it as well as can be expected it is a cassette tape after all i by no means sound as good as having a CD player installed in your car but if that's all you can use it does work i would suggest using an FM transmitter or maybe even buying a new deck with a line in input that will sound much better than either of the other two

It worked for 20 minutes then it started to flip flop ... back and forth between side A & B.
I bought this to replace my Belkin Cassette Adaptor only becuase this P.OS. was the only product on the shelf in the Best Buy Store and I regret it. My belkin worked fine...I noticed the quality difference as soon as I opened the package...This thing is not worth one cent.
***DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY...BUY A BETTER KNOWN BRAND***
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: It worked for 20 minutes then it started to flip flop ... back and forth between side A & B.

I used a Sony adapter before this and had no problems. The adapter switched tape sides every 5-10 seconds and then ejected the tape. Have not been able to listen to it yet. I'm using it in a '95 Ford Explorer for anyone with the SUV thinking about purchaing this product.
What's great about it: N/A
What's not so great: The Cassette continues to switch sides every couple of seconds; have not been able to listen to it yet.

I went to Best Buy, purchased this product, and placed it in my cassette drive. I plugged my iPod in, and heard HORRIBLE quality audio coming from my speakers. I instantly returned the product. Don't waste your time...

For me, it was either this or one of the radio adapters for my ipod. I had a radio adapter before, so I decided to try these. Great choice. The sound is so much crisper, and there is no interference at all. Only thing I've noticed is that, since I've owned mine fore over 7 months, there is a tiny bit of sound blurring. But for $20, this can't be beat.
