Not for iPod Touch.

For some reason the speaker does not show up in the Bluetooth device search in my iPod. But it's a pretty decent speaker. Loud, too!

Battery only lasted a year

I bought this speaker 1/19/2014 and was initially very pleased with the sound quality. However I am very disappointed with the battery quality. Now it only plays for about 15 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It finally died on me today but after having used this speaker in a Sprinter van for about two years I can't complain. the sound was fairly well balanced it got rather loud but could have stood a little more bass. I really liked that it would stand up in the cup holder!!!

It's good when it stay connected

Mine will play three song maybe four but then it will stop receiving its connection with the Bluetooth phone. I tried it with my kindle HD 9.8 it acts the same way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this today and am enjoying the sound quality. Bass, TReble and mid range sound well balanced. Fills a room (and then some) very nicely. Easy to pair with my Android tablet.
Only negative I notice is the charger- doesn't fit in the carry case and it is not USB.

Great Sounding Speaker

I bought the JBL Flip speaker almost a year ago for my father to use when he works out at home. It is a great sounding speaker, the bass really pounds, yet it is not distorted whatsoever. It also can play the high end notes with no distortion. The only problem my father complained about was that the charging cable is very flimsy. When you plug in the charging cable to the speaker, it would fall out easily. There appeared to be no fastening for the cable to stay, but it would still charge. Overall this is an excellent bang for your buck speaker. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a inexpensive speaker with excellent sound quality.
