The drawers fell apart within a year, and the entire thing died within 4 years, just outside the warranty period.

Breaks down regularly

In 3 years and 2 months we had to have it fixed 2 times . Our friend knew what it was and saved us money fixing it the 2 nd time

Cheap drawers and door racks/shelves broke quickly

No issues with cooling. But it is very noisy. More importantly, within a short time, all the door shelves and drawers starting cracking and breaking off with normal use. Cheap plastic materials. Our ten-year-old Samsung, a larger three-door we keep in the garage, didn't have these quality issues. Replacement accessories are expensive. Not worth it to replace all of them. Switching to LG for the next refrigerator because my wife has had it with this garbage. Samsung quality has deteriorated over the years. For what it's worth, we saw the same pattern with washer and dryer and ended up switching to LG for those appliances also.

I’ve had this refrigerator for 8 years. The ice maker never worked properly. The design of the drawers is horrendous. Only one shelf can be tall enough for a gallon container. The temperature controls turn off and need to be reset by turning off electric. It’s now freezing items on every shelf in the refrigerator. I cannot wait to get rid of it. I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Black stainless is garbage. Refrigerator is only 3 years old and the black is PEELING off the fridge. Also the track that holds the drawers broke. The black stainless is also peeling on the stove.
