EXCELLENT REFRIGERATOR

Wanted a french door bottom freezer refrigerator. We were limited in the height due to cabinets. At just over 66" this refrigerator fit perfect! Only one we could find to fit the space. And it is very roomy both in refrigerator and freezer. A well designed product and a good value.
Pros: roomy for its size, well designed

WE chose a refrigerator this size because of our small apartment. It barely fit in, but it operates precisely as it should. Clever French doors ensure tight closure or permits either side to open while maintaining the seal of the other. Maintains temperature in the upper part while keeping zero degrees in freezer. and the freezer on bottom instead of top is a great convenience (prevents an aching back for two persons of advanced years), Quality and appearance are both excellent, We liked it so well that we bought a Samsung over-the-range microwave as well.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, built to last

Great space for it's size

We could only fit this width and height in our kitchen and really wanted a bottom freezer and lots of space in the fridge. This fridge fits so much more than our last fridge that we could hardly put anything in the freezer or it would leak into the fridge. This one has plenty of space. It does seem to frost up a little, but if we push on the drawer a little and make sure all items are placed nicely, not sticking up all over the place it is much better. The ice maker is a little loud when just dropping, but it if only for moments. The refrigerator fits much more that we expected. We can fit a gallon of milk easily in the door, which allows for more space in the main area. This is great for the space we have! Hopefully we will not have any issues, but seems to be doing well after a few weeks in.
Pros: amazing space for size
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had limitations with regard to height and this refrigerator fit the space well. It has performed well and we have no complaints.

Problems with the new electrical code and breaker tripping a real bummer

Just bought a new fridge and can't use it. Hooked up the fridge and the breaker trips anywhere from the first five minutes to an hour or two. No one wants spoiled food. Dealer is telling us the design isn't playing well with the new electrical code that requires arc fault or GFI breakers in the electrical panel. I'm told a self-test that gets performed is causing the breaker to pop. Have brand new wiring for a new kitchen and completely new electrical service . I'm told by the dealer the manufacturers haven't quite worked some of these issues now and its happening with more and more customers. Not totally mfr issue but a work-around is being discussed with the electrical inspectors. I'm told some eletricians are swapping breakers till they find ones that are more tolerant. Hope this gets resolved soon. Having a large fridge in your kitchen thats a door stop is not fun.

Disappointed with the freezer. Temperature fluctuates from 10 degrees F to -10 degrees F at any time. Ice cream is too hard to scoop. Ice maker made ice 3 times in one day and stopped working and hasn't worked in a month. Owned this refridgerator for only a month. It was the only model I could buy because of the space I had available. I wish there was another option with this style refridgerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful, functional fridge

My husband and I recently did some upgrades to our kitchen, and this fridge is a great addition. It is beautiful, and it fits into the small space required. I love the bottom freezer drawer, and it is far more organized than a standard refrigerator. The quality of this product is outstanding as are all of the Samsung appliances we have purchased in the past. The value was not great, but since we needed it to be a particular size, we had to pay the extra money.
Pros: great storage, organized
Cons: expensive

French Door Refrigerator

I purchased this refrigerator because I wanted a French Door model and had an unusual space. This refrigerator fits perfectly and is absolutely beautiful. It has movable shelves and the adjustments are very easy to do. It's bright so you can see everything inside. I love it!
